[ So I have a supremely difficult time finding pants of any kind. I 'm short( 5' 3 '') and pear- shaped; wide hips and a big butt. When I bump into counters or chairs, I surprise myself. If you 're like me, it's a particular kind of misery. And if you 're like me, when you try on a pair of pants that fit you, and do n't slide down giving you saggy crotch, you want every color and maybe back ups. For me, this is that pair of snow pants. These feel great, look great, and I 'm so glad I got them. They 're very thin, so definitely for the warmer days. The Columbia's recommended size for me was M short, but short was unavailable. I 've also been duped by the auto- size recommendations, so I bought these in both M regular and L regular. The M's were tight on my butt, but the L's were comically large. Like there was no- point- in- zipping- them- huge. I 'm keeping the mediums, and will continue to dream of dropping a pound. They are a bit tight in the upper leg joint area when I sit or lift my leg up, but it's not that big of a deal. I 'm not rock- climbing or doing yoga in these things. I LOVE the adjustable waist, omg, what brilliance. That may sell these alone! The length is a bit long for me, but with boots on, I do n't think that will matter too much. I was surprised that the elastic around the ankles was so loose, but maybe that's how they 're supposed to be to fit around boots... just seemed too loose. Overall, great pants.

I love the fit on these pants! I am a size 6- 8 and the M fits perfect! I like them more snug because they are more flattering& I do not feel like a marshmallow. These are warmer than my North Face snoga pant and just as flattering. I can wear a think wool layer underneath on cold days. I find Roxy brand to run on the smaller size, so size up if you are unsure. I would say they are a juniors sizing not ladies. I personally like the high waist& elastic waistband for curvy figures- it keeps the snow out if you take a tumble.

The ski pants is true to the size for very slim fit; I 'm 5'11 '', 140lbs, and I can fit a medium weight base layer legging into M size( if you stature is about the same, do n't go for L, it 'll be way too loose, almost like regular/goofy fit). The material is also fairly stretchy, unlike some more waterproof/hardcore surface. It's not insulated with down/etc. but it has an inner fleece and is relatively warm. The design is really good, if you are looking for something flattering and can show off your leg.

These are great ski pants except for the length. I always buy “ short ” length in Columbia hiking pants and ski pants, I ’ m 5 ’ 3 ”. I was skeptical when I read short was a 31. 5 inseam( all the other short pants list between 28- 30in inseam), but thought over a ski boot it would work. Unfortunately, they are way too long! Otherwise, fit fine in the waist and hips. Returning for a different style, that really is made for short people.

I was very wary to buy these seeing the poor reviews, but by using the Obermeyer Size chart from their site, my measurements to size fit perfectly... and I have THICK thighs! I ordered both 10 and 12 just in case, but the 10 fit best. They are warm, insulated, the zippers are high quality and they have a very handy velcro cinch at the back to tighten just right. I am 5 ’ 5 ”- 155lbs and loose measurements are Waist 29 ”& Hip 41 ”. Because my thighs were my highest concern, and are for many ladies, they are each 24. 5 ” around. Size 10 fit comfortably. See pics! Only drawback is I wanted to match my new Obermeyer Cosima Jacket in Varsity Blue. The color is close but not a true match, see last photo.

No snow or cold at my waist band, or cutting into my gut when knees come up. The price point is reasonable and good value. Function and fashion.( I now have two colors and alternate with jackets.) Leg zips to open when hiking or warm; lined and space for underlayers on brutal cold days. The long side- zip allows keeping the shoulders on while I use the toilet. In the front pocket, I can store the phone and anything else needed; it has a zip close and an internal mesh sleeve. The cuffs have a cinch so I do n't trash the pant hem, dragging on the ground. I am 66 '' tall, abut a size 6 and wear the size small- it could certainly fit a taller person too, with plenty of space in the elastic shoulder straps( and cuffs).

They look and feel much higher quality in person. I spent 5 hours researching bibs and ultimately went with these for the relaxed fit, features, price, color, and moderate amount of insulation. I like the narrower shoulders and the thigh vents were a savior on warmer days. I like the variety of zipper, button, and Velcro pockets too. I was worried about the regular being too long because I ’ m 5 ’ 0 ” but they were perfect in ski boots! Too long for hiking unfortunately. 10/10 recommend.

I like the bibs much more than I liked the jacket counterpart. They are pretty waterproof and warm. I like the amount of pockets and storage options. The only thing I don ’ t love about these is the lack of insulation. These are not nearly as insulated as I would have liked them to be. After being pleased with my MH shell, I decided to try these bibs and so glad I did. So far they 've been worn skiing and snowmobiling in various conditions, from 28 degrees and snowing 2 '' an hour, pouring rain, and cold dry single digit weather. The waterproofing is superior, and blocks the wind well enough. The fabric is comfortable and does n't feel constricting. I 'm 5' 2 '', about 130 lbs, with pretty beefy legs and butt. The medium short is definitely roomy, which is what I wanted to allow for layering and freedom of movement. I LOVE that there are options for length. This should be standard in the industry! The leg pockets fit a phone perfectly and have stayed waterproof. The chest pockets are more for sunglasses, chapstick etc, and not a phone, but you should n't have your phone right next to your beacon anyways. The zipper works well enough for peeing. It's a pretty easy process. Overall, this bib is just a great no- nonsense product that does exactly what you need it to do: Keep you dry and comfortable.

These bibs are amazing. You may think you would lose style/fit/quality with bibs, but you will be very pleasantly surprised and eager to hit the slopes and apres activities in your new bibs. There is waist/hip cinching system that you will love! They are extremely comfortable on, will not inhibit any moves and will add value to your day!! I 'm 5' 6 '', 127 lbs and have them in small/ short. The length is perfect, but if you are over 5' 6 '' and have long legs, go with the regular length.

Finding pants in any outdoor brand is a challenge because sizing is still skewed towards more petite women. I am 5' 6, 140 lb, hourglass shaped with a 32D bust, 27 '' waist and 39 '' hips and athletically built thighs. I ordered a medium tall and the 34 '' inseam is actually perfect and just hits the floor without shoes on. Pros: Built- in cinch belt around waist- this is a genius add! High front pocket allows to sit comfortably over the chest while keeping the girls secured and the straps flat over the traps Overall really comfortable pant Cons: Drop seat zipper is only on* one* side. It does not have the dual zippers I was expecting. This feature was why I ultimately went with Mountain Hardwear and I think an added zipper would make this pant 5 stars. Needs more room in the thigh/outer hip area to accommodate for layering and different body types No cinch or snap around the inner boot liner

I am 5'10 and based on the size guide I fit a small long. However, the main issue I had was that the torso was too short, even with the straps at maximum length. I do not believe these would fit someone taller than me unless they have a relatively short torso. The quality seemed great, but these bibs would be better if there was a front zipper or if the straps could be unhooked. At its current design, you have to lift the straps over your head which is almost impossible if you also have on a helmet. If the torso length could be adjusted along with the strap issue, this would be a five star product.

Just got back from my first day on the slopes with these pants and loved them! Very warm and the pockets are super convenient. I 'm 5' 9 '' and weight 145- initially I got a medium and they fit like a glove but I like to layer a lot so needed some extra space. That large is a bit baggier than intended but it works better for me. I had a small issue with the pants when they arrived and contacted halfdays.
