They are trendy- looking enough for my 13 and 15- year olds to wear to school and to hang out with their friends. The color( graphic charcoal) is fairly dark and matches with most colors for shirts, socks, and shoes. The only potential negative is that they are such a light material that they are not very warm... so do n't assume they would be good to keep you comfortable on very cold outdoor days. I bought this when it was on sale for 70% off, not knowing the exact fabric content or if the quality would be as good as other Smartwool items I 've purchased. The construction is pretty good, flat lock seams are well executed and it's comfortable to wear. My biggest complaint is that they do n't list the exact fabric content in the website description. It's 56% merino, 44% polyester. Material is thin, comparable to Merino 150. Fit is slim and a little long. With the light weight of the material the collar has a tendency to fold in on itself if it's slightly unzipped, but I do n't think this can be fixed. Overall I 'm happy with the purchase and would recommend it

These pants are awesome for winter outdoor and athletic activities. They are lined and windproof, so you can wear them when it is pretty cool to cold and your legs stay warm. I have used them for golf, outdoor exercise and just outdoor chores around the house. The extra cargo pockets on the legs are great to put your phone in and they snap so your items are secure, but still easily accessible. The regular pockets all have zippers, so again, everything you put in them stays secure no matter what you are doing.

The knees do not even bag! My original reason for choosing this particular item was the cellphone pocket. This is a must for me.
