Like any clothing, the fit depends on your build, but I love the tapered style — these make my calves look like an NFL running back's. I 'm about 6' 0 '', 170 lbs, very lean — similar to VRST ambassador Devonta `` Smitty '' Smith. Please, I 'm practically begging you: offer more colors! A lighter grey, balsam green, deeper khaki, or a good shade of red — I 'd buy every one. Also, consider adding belt loops. Keep the stretchy liner at the waist, maybe tweak or remove the strings that get destroyed in the dryer, but belt loops would make it easy to tuck in a polo without looking ridiculous on the course. Love the fit, love the material, and I 'd throw even more money your way with these small updates. Thanks for considering it — I think the brand is highly competitive in this crowded space and is well- positioned to take another step forward.

This is my first free people purchase. They are very oversized. For reference I am 5 ’ 5 and around 145- 150lbs and I ordered a medium. I wanted the oversized look, but I could ’ ve gone with a small. I think because these are not meant to be high waisted, the waist is a lot bigger than it normally would be for a medium. I do have to pull them up really high and tie them tight with the drawstring, otherwise they will drag on the ground( So, good for tall girlies!). I am 5' 5 '' and they are super long, but have styled them with some sneakers that have a platform or give me a little lift and it's not a problem. I noticed the model in the photos was 5'10 '' and they 're just about touching the floor, so that's a great representation of how long they are. I just love the way they fit and look, and have already ordered the other colors.

VRST has done it again. I have some pants made by another company that are similar to these and I would choose these over the other brand. The fabric is softer and looks more like a traditional khaki pant. These pants come with a little extra room in the hip and thigh area, so they fit nice and comfortable. The material has a slight stretch to it, so range of motion is not limited in any way. The fabric is moisture wicking so they dry quick. The pants also have UV protection which is alway a plus if you are out in the sun. These pants are great for the active dad. My son is a highschool football and travel ball player. The cargo pockets are no overly large, just the right size to secure your wallet on one side and your truck key on the other.

Purchased several( at least, 5 each over time) pairs for my sons, 20 and 22. They grew up in the comfortable and unrestricted wearing of the basic track pants with lines down the sides and continue to refuse blue jeans. It is time for a better look! And these pants fit the bill! The ease of washing and keeping clean is a huge plus. I( mom) am also glad for the zippered pockets! Only con, they are a little short as far as I am concerned- but the boys could care less. They love them! Also, this review is for the slim fit or regular; none of the 3 of us care for the loose/baggy fit. If you are in shape and fit, why have baggy clothes….

Normally wear a 33x34 but these pants only run even sizes. Took a chance on the 34x34 and they are perfect. Looks like nice trousers with added flex for golf. Nice pockets and they wash up nicely. a bit pricey but average for quality pant.
