I 've had a few kayaks in the past but this is my first angler kayak. Always liked Perception and their products and this one holds true. Very stable. Can easily cast standing and I have n't tried yet but I feel like I could throw a cast net standing as well. More space than I know what to do with. The only drawback I can think of is how slow it is but that's what you 're going to get with a kayak this size and accommodations. A lot of boats cost more than this one that do n't offer as much. Truly getting a lot for what you pay for. My only advice is what money you save with this kayak, invest in a long paddle. I 'm shorter but because you sit higher you 're going to want to go for a longer reach. Also if you 'll be carrying your boat to the water, do n't get the cheapest cart. I 've already bent the field and stream cart I bought from dicks.

Our duaghter and her husband took us on an* day Caribbean cruise right after Thanksgiving and I bought a 2nd Sunset hat, this time in Cinnamon, so she would have a good sun hat too. She preferred the lighter colored hat so I let her keep that one and I kept the cinnamon one. These hats can be shaped how ever you prefer them, but I like the sides rolled up like a `` western hat '' so I have good peripheral vision, especially when walking our pup. I love LOVE my new Lake Kayak!! I could not be more thrilled with being able to drive to the lake at 4: 30 after work and go relax on the water. It is a new found freedom for me. I ’ m older and can not lift the original type kayak on the roof of my SUV. I have gone several times by myself on the lake and feel absolutely fantastic about the experience. It is easy to set up and tear down. I just throw it in the back of my car and I do make sure that I rinse it when I get home. Do not take it over rocks. I will say I have broke the adjustable seat already. I don ’ t know what happened with that when I undid it it was broke. So be very careful with that. But I feel safe and I have gone where I have hit a few waves. And it has not flipped my kayak like some reviews said it would do. I absolutely would suggest this to any person who wants to do this alone. I feel safe and empowered. I couldn ’ t be more thrilled❤️

I love it! It ’s easy to assemble and break down. Best of all, it ’s easy to lift and carry. Also, convenient to transport in my car.

[ This is a great invention. It is so easy to store, transport, assemble, navigate, and dissemble. I immediately got the second one so that I can enjoy it with my friends. I weigh 130 pounds and I use it with a seven year girl 50 pounds and a Chihuahua 10 pounds. It was so stable and we love the experience. I definitely recommend recommended to all who were thinking about the new adventure with kayaks. Thank you and congrats to the team.

Took my Oru Inlet for its first run. I had to wait for the ice to melt enough( Northeast Connecticut). I am very impressed. It was easy to assemble and disassemble and was extremely maneuverable on the water.

The Inlet is great fun to paddle on small inland lakes and rivers. It takes up very little space when folded, and is quick and easy for one person to set up. One tiny nit to pick: the bulkheads are a little tricky to position. I ’ ve marked the bottoms of mine with dots to help align them, and it would be helpful for the setup instructions to be clearer about where the tops of the bulkheads should line up. Perhaps alignment marks could be added to the skin at both top and bottom. I am very happy with this boat.
