I haven ’ t been able to utilize yet in the winter but the elastic waist is much stronger than LL Bean ’s supplex shorts since they went to China for production, and at lesser cost.. Hopefully the longevity will be as good as theirs. I ’ ve been looking for a good replacement. I believe these will be much better. I ’ ve washed and still retain form. Excellent nylon suit, now ordering another pair for summer. Waist and length excellent for swimming, I prefer nylon to polyester in suits, dry quicker, less resistance in the water. [ I got these in size M with the 6 inch inseam and they fit perfectly, i am 5 ’ 11 and 180lbs. Originally ordered size L with 8 inch inseam and those were baggy on me. Very comfortable and i love the back zipper pocket. Only thing i didnt like was the netting on the inside which i just cut out with some scissors, now they are just like regular boardies. Some people like the netting, i dont. The color scheme is beautiful, it dont get no more American than that!
