This shirt is great for layering or wearing in summer temperatures to help avoid stink. The fabric is on the delicate side so not for bashing through the undergrowth where you would snag it. I like this shirt for summer travels. It packs well, shakes out wrinkles, and dries in a reasonable time. Beginners or experts will appreciate this shirt. I like this shirt better than 100% wool in the summer time.

Have this t- shirt in green and really love it. So soft and wears/washes really well without having to be babied! I do wash most of my clothes on gentle cycle anyway, and low heat or hang to dry, this shirt has hung to dry and gone in a dryer, and still looks just the same as new. Which makes it much better than cheaper, fast fashion alternatives. I 'm too busy to seek out new shirts every five minutes. I want something that looks nice and will last a long time. [ I love this shirt. Not only is it attractive and the colors are amazing, I bought all three colors, but it keeps me cool running in hot temperatures. I run in the desert up to 96 degrees in these shirts. I wear a medium in other brands but a large in icebreaker tops. The slit in the back makes a nice vent for heat to escape and the shirt flows AWAY from the body which allows for airflow over the skin. The air also flows through this fabric cooling me down and when it is saturated in sweat it still feels cool to the skin. Awesome! Functional and attractive. What more could you want?
