I ’ m not a huge fan of sunburn especially since it happens easily for me. If I get out in the sun, I slather on the highest SPF I can find. I ’ ve been looking for a shirt like this for a while and decided to try Columbia ’s version. The shirt is super lightweight and feels nice. To test it out, I wore it in the yard while sawing some wood and while I was hot in the sun, I didn ’ t look like a lobster. That ’s a thumbs up from me.

[ Recently returned from an extremely hot and humid vacation in Key West. Temps in the 90's. Dewpoint 75 or higher every day. Heat index of 110. I brought 2 of these Echo T- Shirts with me and lived in them. Very light and breathable and the only tops I had that did not stick to my hot and sweaty body. They wicked well and offer SPF protection. How this is accomplished in such lightweight material is a mystery to me. And no... they are not see- through like so many other lightweight options. I 'm a big fan of the modest v- neck these shirts have. I do wish they were and in or two shorter, but that's my personal preference. I highly recommend the Echo T- Shirt and the Echo Sun Hoody. Fantastic all around.

I live in the HOT desert and when I want to keep the sun from baking my skin, this is what I reach for. These shirts are SO thin that it's as close to wearing nothing that you can get. I also love them for travel as the t- shirt can pack into practicality a 2 inch cube! I could wash this shirt with a little soap in a sandwich- baggy and it would then dry in no time at all.
