I 'm a tennis player& wear these leggings under a tennis skirt. In winter my outdoor tennis playing requires long leggings& long sleeves. The ColdGear Leggings material has a nice thickness, feels durable, has compression& is soft to the touch inside& out. The waistband is well designed. I like my athletic waistbands around my hip bones; therefore, I adjust all my legging waistbands to personal comfort. I 'm 5' 6 '' _112lbs. I wear UA x- small to be as fitted as possible. I ordered Tall because I like to cover my ankles. This length is about 3/4 '' too long on me, but not a bother since they 're leggings. These pants, as well as the matching shirts, are great for when your son's baseball coach thinks it's a good idea to hold practice in January when it's 38 degrees and no tournament until March! You can put this under any jersey or uniform to keep warm. Do n't mess around with the cheap ones you can find at other online retailers. They 're real thin and do n't add much thermal support. Went hiking in the Lake District and discovered my abisko tights were too large. Fortunately, I found a Fjallraven vendor and found these tights, which turned out perfect as I need a bit more insulation. I love the feel of these. They kept me warm on some pretty brutal days. They dry quickly. I am absolutely in love with Fjallraven tights, and these are a new favorite.

First let me say that I 'm not a person who wears tights- never have been- but these have changed my mind. I was on the fence about ordering for the longest time and I 'm so glad I finally did. They are thick enough that they feel more like pants to me and oh, so comfortable. The waistband is high, but not too high and the overall fit is just perfect. The leg pockets are deep and secure and the reflective piping at the ankles is a really nice touch. I had thought I might need to wear long underwear with them to be warm enough, but the wind proof panels are a life saver and they are plenty warm if you keep moving.(* An added bonus is that dog hair does not stick to them!) I 'm 5' 6, 140 lbs, average build and the Medium fits perfectly( In the Keb's I wear a 38EU)
