I wore these on a long day of walking all day in 95+ degree weather and they were so comfortable! I loved that I could unzip them a bit at the bottom of leg for airflow. They are so lightweight and soft. They 're great for travel too, worked well for a long day at the airport. Be aware that you will make some noise in these, that swish swish sound. But it's not too bad unless you are in a super quiet place. The pockets are great.

However, once I put them on I was shocked and pleasantly surprised at how much I liked them! Definitely for cooler weather( the material is heavy). Very comfortable one. High waisted. They are pleated so nicely, that they are an interesting combo of cargo pants and trousers/wide leg which I love. As for sizing, I have seen some reviews say they are small but I did not find this to be the case. For reference, I am 5' 8 and 170 and got a medium. To me they fit perfectly. The only place they are a tiny bit snug is around the thighs( I have thicker thighs in general) but if I lose, literally, 2- 3 pounds, they would be perfect. I also LOVE the length as most pants like this are too short on me but these are plenty long( so may be a lad long for a shorter person). Overall, I am so happy with these and can see wearing them a lot for the rest of the winter both for walks and to go out!

I really like these trousers. I wanted a pair of hiking trousers that looked a little more stylish and can be worn in a multitude of scenarios. I have them in green, a pleasing military shade, and like the fact they are all a single block of colour unlike many two- tone hiking trousers( which I personally find a little uncool). Material is flexible facilitating easy and fluid movement and is durable but not heavy. The cut is straight, not baggy, a little more slim than most walking trousers. The elasticated hem is practical and aids with the slimmer line of the trouser. The 3 pockets are all zipped which is practical. The yellow logo on the back is cool. I would recommend and may also buy in the blue colour too.

They look GREAT, and fit great( if you size up). I am 5' 7, 145 lbs. I have a long torso, slim waist and wider hips with a big butt. I am usually a size 6 in tops and 8 in pants( Size 8 fit my hips and is usually a bit to big for my waist) After reading the reviews here I ordered a size 12. They fit perfectly. Just barely loose on the waist( but that gives space for tucking in thick baselayers tops) and perfect on the hips. I could have gotten a size 10 but I suspect that would give me a flattened butt. I bought a pair a few years ago for general exercise and discovered they are excellent for cool/cold weather mountain biking( and cycling in general). The tapered leg and ankle cuff keep the pants safely out of the bike chain. They dry fast, are stretchy and have zippered pockets. I bought a size medium and small to compare. I ultimately selected the small which initially felt too small, but turned out just right for a slim fit. I am about 5' 8 '' with a 30 '' inseam and weigh about 155 lbs.

Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. Too early to tell on how durability will compare but definitely feels like it ’ ll perform better Very happy with all the changes made!

I do already have some other items of Fjallraven gear. These are now my ‘ go to trousers ’ when the weather is warmer here in England. I have had these about 6 week and initially they felt too hard wearing to be cool in warm weather, in a sense that they could be too warm……. they ARE hard wearing, but great in warmer weather and so I needn ’ t have worried( they were ideal in the warmer weather of Madeira)..!!
