[ I was absolutely amazed at the way these pants not only looked on me but how comfortable they are. I 'm 5'4 and these are standard fit Mid Rise Full length and for me they are a little long BUT they have a draw string on the bottom so you can wear them baggy or like jogging pants. The material reminds me of a wind breaker but to my surprise are extremely comfortable. I got a Large and I 'm 5'4 150lbs and they sit perfectly on my hips, not too big and not snug. I went ahead and washed them and it was a success it did not alter the clothing and they did not draw up in fact it softened them just a bit. These pants are definitely IN STYLE and I dont want to take them off now. I honestly do n't have any cons to say about them, I would recommend if you like this brand and want to be cute AND comfortable. I do think they run big so I would size down.

[ I have to say that the moment that I opened the package I was impressed. The fabric reminds me of a parachute and feels like it would be incredibly hard to tear, rip or damage. I also like the fact that the wide legs are there so that any type of sports boot can fit under the cuffs, or, one can use the draw string to cinch the cuffs up for things like mountain biking. The look is what I would consider tough but tight looking. They are sleek but well sorted with plenty of pockets that close in well placed areas. It is important that the pockets be in the right places and can be closed so that things do n't get damaged or lost. The women's medium size seems a slight bit large, but give that it comes with a waist drawstring, that is not a problem. They also seem a bit long, but I understand that Medium has to fit a large sample of women, and the fact that the cuffs can be cinched help them stay put and kind of create a tuff puffed look. I think that I like the fabric the most as I can not imagine hurting them.

[ Overall, I really like these cargo pants, especially because of the fit and the material! The fit of these cargos really hit the mark, they sit just right as a mid rise below my belly button but they cover high enough for me not to feel self conscious about my lower abdomen. The elastic waistband sits well on the hips and there is a string inside if you want to make the fit tighter. The pant legs are also loose, providing a good cargo shape that skews a little wider and I especially like how the hem of the pants have elastic for a cinched ankle look if that is what you like. I have bigger thighs so finding wide leg pants that fit my waist and are still loose around the thighs is somewhat difficult.. These pants fit true to size at the waist but the length is quite long. I am 5'7 '' and the pants( non- cinched) hit the bottom of my feet, so would highly recommend wearing these pants with a pair of platform shoes if you are 5'7 '' or shorter just so you do n't step on the pant hem. The length looks really good cinched though so there is a reason why these pants are so long. Color wise, the brown colorway leans a little more green than one would expect from a brown. It is still brown but I think it leans more warm tone than cool tone brown. The pockets use velcro which makes it easy to put stuff in and I was able to fit my phone, wallet, keys as well as a small pouch into 1 pocket. The material is quite thick for a cotton nylon blend. I wore these in the rain and it is water resistant.

As always, the Smith Summit Pants deliver. This is my third pair, and I ’ ve owned every generation so far. The new version definitely runs larger — in previous generations, size L felt consistent across models, but this time L fits more like an XL from the older ones. The redesigned knee pockets are now placed more toward the front of the thigh instead of the side. I ’ m still getting used to this change and not sure yet if I prefer it, but the functionality seems about the same. I ’ m happy they brought back the snap button on the rear pocket — much better than the zipper from V2. The single- layer knee pockets are still a small letdown compared to the older double- pocket design. The added soft, stretchy lining on the inside of the waistband is a nice touch — feels great and adds comfort for all- day wear. Overall, still one of the best pairs of pants I ’ ve ever owned. I got a size L, and I ’ d say the pants are true to size. They ’ re straight cut so they definitely give you a lot of leg room which is great to layer up for the cold weather. I think the design is pretty simple which I love. They have pockets on top and also one cargo style pocket on the side that ’s pretty deep. The material feels really smooth and nice although it seems that it may crinkle pretty easily maybe after washing. A steamer could fix that issue easily though. One thing I will say is that the pants are a bit long for me, and I ’ m 5 ’ 4 ”. If I wear them with snow or work boots, they look just fine. But they ’ ll drag on the floor if I wear them with any low cut footwear.

The material is light but doesn ’ t feel too plasticky and thankfully doesn ’ t make “ swishing ” sounds when walking like some other similar pants. The drawstring waist is wide enough to avoid pressure points, with a chunky string that stays tied well. The pockets are deep enough that your phone won ’ t fall out when you kneel or sit and the mid- leg pocket is novel and holds a phone or wallet nicely. The ankles are straight with a wide enough opening to drape nicely over high tops without looking baggy. Fit around the hips is a bit more snug than other Nike pants I own but only a bit. If I could alter one thing it would be making them a bit roomier in the hips but that ’s just personal preference. For reference, I ’ m 5 ’ 10 ” and 190lbs with an athletic build. I wear a 32 waist in jeans and this medium pair of pants fit me well. I really appreciate the premium touches like Jordan branding on the aglets and eyelets, as well as the expensive selling materials and clean paneling and stitching throughout. [ I like these pants a lot. I ’ m short and I ’ ve never had a pair of pants that fit perfect until this pair. The length is perfect. They are so light weight and I normally don ’ t like “ wind breaker ” type pants but this pair feels so comfortable. They are a little thicker than windbreakers and don ’ t make the sound of windbreakers when walking, which is a plus. I do wish they were a darker black as they look a little faded but they are still black enough to wear with almost anything. The design is really basic but I like that about Jordan brand. Overall I like these pants a lot and wouldn ’ t change anything.

I ’ m 6 ’ 4 ” and 300#. I usually order a 42 ” waist( sometimes 40 ”) and I ordered a 44 ” waist since these can small. I ’ m happy with the way these fit in the waist, seat and thigh. I ended up ordering 5 more in different colors. Simms is the best!

The latest style is great. They have a great form fitting stylish shape. I normally wear a 30 waist but felt the 30s were a bit snug in the thigh area, so I got a 32. They ’ re a little big in the waist but they have a draw string you can cinch down and tie. They fit great after doing that, you don ’ t need a belt.

Put to the true test during back to back long 100+ degree days on the water. Very pleased with how they handled the heat and still kept the bugs/sun off all while being extremely comfortable. [ Fits well, a little on tighter side but loosens up when hiking. The fabric is interesting, it ’s somewhat softer than Patagonia Quandary pants( my other favorite). Only concern is the fabric seems to soak up moisture a bit more than I expected on damp days.

Lower warm elevations were no problem due to its breathability and high cold elevations were no problem once moving but easily fit some long John ’s underneath. The only down side is the zippered right leg pocket. It didn ’ t rain on my trip but I tested the water shedding in the shower. The zipper is a shire place for water to seep in during a downpour. Still love them though!
