Great pants. Best fitting Carhartt pants I have had. Fabric is great feeling and looking though it does show wrinkles a bit more than I would prefer. Pocket layout is nearly perfect. My only gripe with them is that the extra pocket that is thigh level on the right side is pretty much pointless. If I put anything in it I can feel it on the back of my knee and it gets in the way when sitting. When there is nothing in the pocket I can sometimes feel the lining or stitching from it. I think the pants would be better if it was just omitted.

Just the right bagginess to be comfy at home, skating, lounging, or running errands. Still a little short in the length for 5 ’ 11 ”, 194, but absolutely loves these and feel blessed to own the navy, khaki/tan, and the black. I have a hard time finding pants long enough for my 33 '' inseam, but these pants are perfect! I 'm 5' 8 '', 140 pounds, with a slim build and the medium fits perfectly. I do wish they were a bit thicker( like this version from years ago), but they are thick enough for construction work. They happen to be just right for backpacking in the Winds of Wyoming- warm days, cold nights. As to the comments from others about being too tight, order a larger size… Pockets are adequate for what I put in them but they are not giant cargo pockets. No offense, but size up. I ’ m specifically speaking to my thiqq boys that make noise in the gym. We love leg day, we do it because it allows us to hike for longer. We do it for the glutes. Trust me when I say it ’s not you it ’s them. Size up and thank me later. Aside from the sizing I love these and I personally think they are a great investment if you want to take your hiking attire to the next level. Ventilation isn ’ t the cure for everything and everyone sweats differently. The ventilation here definitely cured my souther sweat factory. I used these on a hike and my back was getting sweaty so on way back I ventilated and holy cow what a difference. You sacrifice a pocket and some thigh space by having the zipper to ventilate but this thiqq boy doesn ’ t like to chafe and am I happy I found these. I still give these a 5 star regardless of the size up. I do not like to have a sweaty bottom or back and this did exactly what I needed. Take the time and invest in gear that will last longer, haste makes chafe.

Initial observations. These pants are true to size. They fit great with a belt. I was worried about the boot hook and vent zipper. The boot hook is tucked away so that it is protected from accidently catching. The zipper pulls on the vents tucks away when open or closed.

These are just great. The waist size is ruler accurate- no funny business there. They look sharp. They ’ re very comfortable. They ’ re not baggy. Lots of snaps and pockets. I bought several pairs and wear them almost everyday. They ’ re holding up very well. I really like how they fit and look. They are a bit “ cool ” as in they don ’ t retain a great deal of heat, but that ’s a pro in the spring/summer/fall.

My last pair shrunk a bit so I upsided on these in case of that. These are the most comfortable hiking pants I have owned. Also very durable. My last pair had the zipper to make shorts, which I hardly ever used and was less comfortable due to the zipper. These are perfect when you want some coverage hiking but also breathability when you get a sweat going. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a solid hiking pant.

I love these pants for hiking and backpacking. The material breathes well, dries quickly and is cool in hot weather but warm enough when actively hiking into the upper 40s even in a mild breeze. The draw cord at the waist is very nice and works well. Eliminate need for a belt, which gets in the way when carrying a backpack. The draw chords at the cuffs are nice, but they require a plastic attachment, which is easily lost. They should be supplied with one or two replacements when purchased.

I usually wear a 34 US, but they were a bit snug so I went up to a size 36 US and immediately loved them. Bear spray fits perfectly in the front thigh pocket. I bought size 38. I am 5' 5 '', fluctuate between 134- 137lb. 28- 29 '' waist, 38 '' hips. I wanted to love the keb trousers but I couldn ’ t get over a few flaws. The thicker material is not ideal for summer conditions and the reinforced butt gave me a uni- butt. I recently bought the keb agile trousers and they are perfect. The pants are thinner, still durable, and have quite a bit of stretch! This is my first Fjallraven pair of trousers. I 've previously bought from other outdoor brands. Pros: Material seems high quality and very breathable even with long johns underneath. It feels durable and the stitching is immaculate. It has a lot of ventilation pockets and deep storage pockets. Deep pocket placement is great so items wo n't poke you while walking or squatting/sitting. The ankles are slightly flared so thick socks and boots can fit comfortably. They also have buttons so you can do a tighter fit. It is comfortably high waisted and makes movement smooth/easy. I have a curvy figure and the fit is very flattering. No crotch seam. Cons: there are questionable too many seams, which squeeze on you when squatting or bending the knee, but the pants may be flexible because of the seams. It is not a stretchy material so your size is very important. It hugs your waist, so it is not easy to put the pants on as a curvy person. Once it's on, it feels like a second skin though. It does run small. I was hoping a large would let me wear a base layer, but it just barely fits. With the amount of seams, a base layer will probably protect your skin from seams digging in. Will update once I take it out for a few weeks.

I bought a pair of these pants four years ago love them so much bought another pair two years ago they 've become my favourites and I overwear them. They still look like new except for a small pick on the thigh of my newer pair but I 'm the only one who knows it's there. Most comfortable pants ever for working and bending they stretch in all the right places. My husband and I even wear them skiing with an under layer. Fabulous secure pockets for multitool, phone and wallet. Never put them in the dryer and you will get many happy years with them. They are expensive but worth the money. My daughter got me a pair of these pants for Christmas last year. When I tried them on I instantly fell in love with how they felt. They were a little big in the waste and slightly long. However, what I really love about these pants are the ankle straps and the ability to cinch them around your boots. These trousers were the reason for me to fall in love with the Fjällräven brand. I 've used them extensively while camping, tenting, hiking and- yes- winter mountaineering. I absolutely love the design, materials and functionality. Those were my first pair of hiking pants with pre- bent knees and I felt the difference in comfort and freedom of movement. In hot summer days, they might feel a bit heavy, so the ventilations are essential to keep you cool. I can appreciate the front pockets as well, as they have enough depth and are easy to reach on the go. My pair is ageing quite well and has no issues with the durability even after extensive use and washing cycles- the color on the G- 1000 does start to fade a bit, but it looks even cooler that way. Overall these are one of my favorite trousers. For the winter mountain, they are a bit baggy and may get in the way of your crampons, so I switched to a pair of Bergtagen Stretch for that. Still, they can do the job and will not let you down. For all other seasons, they are unbeatable.

I thought my Vidda Pro's were the best trousers I had... until I picked up a pair of Keb Agile's in the sale. Hands( or legs) down the best trekking and general wear trousers I have ever bought in 35 plus years of trekking and hiking around the globe. Their first proper test was a hike and snowmobile up Langjokull glacier in Iceland and they performed brilliantly. The position of the thigh pockets is genius, and gives you easy access to items when sitting. The reinforced areas are perfect, especially the inner calf areas. [ Hiking in my neighboring Rocky Mountains means lots of interactions with scratchy, rippy surfaces. These Nikka Curved provide terrific reinforcement in the right areas. The tough fabric is surrounded by breathable stretchy fabric. These pants ARE on the warm side, though; I 'd consider them three- seasoners( a bit much for hot days).

They are long enough, they have sufficient glute room, they actually stay in place when I ’ m moving and don ’ t ride up/shift around. And, they ’ re flattering! And they have pockets such that my phone can fit without impinging my movement, or pulling down the pants. So glad I found these.

[ These are literally the only non- wide leg outdoor pants that have ever fit my thighs and hips without falling down or gaping at the waist. I love them so much. They are so durable. I love that the fabric is weather resistant, quick drying, and ventilated. I love Fjällräven ’s warranty. They aren ’ t quite as high rise on the back as I would like, but otherwise these are amazing and comfortable and I would happily grab a drink or dinner in the( admittedly very casual) PNW urban area after. These are not my first pair and will not be my last, but that ’s because I love them so much. The first ones from a few years ago are still holding up despite multiple slides on scree, grazes with my crampons, and other issues that lesser pants could never dream to be able to handle. They are long, but the edges are raw so you can hem them yourself. I have adenomyosis and endometriosis and so sometimes I get that pregnant- looking belly, and then they do feel tight, but that ’s true of almost everything. Normal bloating doesn ’ t make them uncomfortable. For me, I would say they run larger than almost all trousers but smaller than the Fjällräven Abisko trekking and trail tights.

[ I was really surprised how warm these kept my legs! Wear these over jeans or thermals and have n't been cold at all, and it was- 10 today. Pros: Fit, style and detail is superb! Warm and protective Cons: The fleece lining can get hung up on whatever they 're going over, mainly when taking them off. A minor inconvenience They are very expensive Absolutely worth it for me, I have used them almost everyday this winter and stayed warm without sacrificing any movement, or hearing a constant swishing noise!

These are great pants! Just the right amount of lining for me in Chicago winter when it's cold out- keep in mind I generally run warm, but this helps me avoid wearing leggings/long underwear on the real cool days. Zippers are well designed and I like the phone pocket on the right leg. Sizing, for me, seems about right. No complaints whatsoever!
