I fell between sizes and sized up because it was described as somewhat slimmer fitting, but I had to exchange for the smaller size because there was plenty of room through the middle and enough in the hips( also does n't go low on the hips. The details are thoughtful. The fabric is slightly sturdier than other typical similar shirts, but it has the following vents and sleeves can roll up with tabs. I 'm thinking of getting another one in a different color..

However I wish Columbia would do something about thier `` Black items '' I 'm not sure if it is the fabric but their black it's not actually black it's more like a deep blue. [ This shirt looked great casual and can easily be dressed up if on vacation with limited clothing options. Can be worn open and has a great sinch option at the waist and could be worn as a crop top with bikini. So cute! I will say that the shoulders and sleeves ran large and the body fit was a bit more boxy. The length of the shirt- i sized up to get it slightly longer, but that made the shoulders pretty large. It was the best water wicking and cool shirt I could buy and kept me cool and sun protected all day on vacation in the hot sun without much shade.
