[ These pants are so versatile you can use it for everyday use. I love the rain and stain repellant feature because water just slides through it. It is also light enough that when washed i do n't need to put it in the dryer, i just hang it to air dry. I bought a pair last year and a 2nd pair just recently in a different color. the only i wish theses pants have are elastic waistband. The recommended use is hiking and when hiking the elastic waist band would 've been more comfortable with all that moving and bending you will do. But i still love it! and i love the belt hoops that becomes additional hooks to whatever you may want to keep in your person that is easily accessible.

As for sizing, I have seen some reviews say they are small but I did not find this to be the case. For reference, I am 5' 8 and 170 and got a medium. To me they fit perfectly. The only place they are a tiny bit snug is around the thighs( I have thicker thighs in general) but if I lose, literally, 2- 3 pounds, they would be perfect. I also LOVE the length as most pants like this are too short on me but these are plenty long( so may be a lad long for a shorter person). Overall, I am so happy with these and can see wearing them a lot for the rest of the winter both for walks and to go out!

[ Just got these hiking pants and wore them on a 9 mile day hike on the Appalachian Trail. They ’ re very comfortable, and the pockets are perfect for phone and sunscreen. I normally wear a size 6, but I ordered an 8 based on reviews, and they fit perfect. Love the ability to tighten the legs over my hiking shoes.

[ So flexible, comfortable, wind resistant, perfect for golfing, hiking, camping!! [ I bought these pants in green and size 8 regular a few months ago and used them for gardening and my trip to Iceland. They were great for hiking; convenient due to all the pockets, durable, comfortable, and they look great. I am 5 ft tall( short and stocky) but they cinch around my ankles and don ’ t drag. [ I love the fit of this product it is spot on. Nice elastic waistband with drawstring.. my favorite is the zip pockets and and zip bottom legs. The color goes well with a black shirt. Adidas mountain logo on the left leg and aeroready this material drys fast..... Ilove how the front of legs is designed giving it a more utilitarian look.... more of a casual design.

I ’ ve been wearing these pants for both work and play for the last 3 years. Phenomenal in almost every way. Hard wearing, durable, and stylish. I do wish they were a bit thicker( like this version from years ago), but they are thick enough for construction work. They happen to be just right for backpacking in the Winds of Wyoming- warm days, cold nights. As to the comments from others about being too tight, order a larger size… Pockets are adequate for what I put in them but they are not giant cargo pockets. One of the best features is the strategic stretch material. Pants are never binding and always comfortable. Thank you for making an amazing product!

I had the regular vidda pro pants for 6 years, but my first impression of this vidda ventilated are lighter, comfortable and the ventilation is a game changer, to avoid excess of heat!

No offense, but size up. I ’ m specifically speaking to my thiqq boys that make noise in the gym. We love leg day, we do it because it allows us to hike for longer. We do it for the glutes. Trust me when I say it ’s not you it ’s them. Size up and thank me later. Aside from the sizing I love these and I personally think they are a great investment if you want to take your hiking attire to the next level. Ventilation isn ’ t the cure for everything and everyone sweats differently. The ventilation here definitely cured my souther sweat factory. I used these on a hike and my back was getting sweaty so on way back I ventilated and holy cow what a difference. You sacrifice a pocket and some thigh space by having the zipper to ventilate but this thiqq boy doesn ’ t like to chafe and am I happy I found these. I still give these a 5 star regardless of the size up. I do not like to have a sweaty bottom or back and this did exactly what I needed. Take the time and invest in gear that will last longer, haste makes chafe.

Initial observations. These pants are true to size. They fit great with a belt. I was worried about the boot hook and vent zipper. The boot hook is tucked away so that it is protected from accidently catching. The zipper pulls on the vents tucks away when open or closed.

I have used this pants for a number of hiking/camping adventures with the family, as well as some day hikes. The front pockets are game changers; have access to small pocket camera, knife, snacks for the kids, etc makes these pants perfect for adventuring around. Yes they look `` very technical '', but that's the point... these pants are about function! Highly recommend them for hiking around and overall `` adventure pants ''. I 'm 6' 0 '' tall and weight 170lbs.... the 32x34 fit perfect.
