These pants are awesome for winter outdoor and athletic activities. They are lined and windproof, so you can wear them when it is pretty cool to cold and your legs stay warm. I have used them for golf, outdoor exercise and just outdoor chores around the house. The extra cargo pockets on the legs are great to put your phone in and they snap so your items are secure, but still easily accessible. The regular pockets all have zippers, so again, everything you put in them stays secure no matter what you are doing.

I 'm so glad I did n't order these online, I opted to try on my normal size at a local retailer and they were crazy tight, like early 2000s skinny jeans. I then tried on 2 sizes up from my regular waist size and they fit nicely with a belt. If you work out and have thighs and glutes that are semi- built order a size or two up in the waist for mobility. As far as quality goes, I like the thickness and rigidity of the material, definitely a nice resistant fabric.

I 'm 5' 8 and wear a large in most brands. I bought these in large and they fit great. I could probably wear a medium for a shorter, less baggy fit but I like that they are a bit baggy and longer. I wore these on a long day of walking all day in 95+ degree weather and they were so comfortable! I loved that I could unzip them a bit at the bottom of leg for airflow. They are so lightweight and soft. They 're great for travel too, worked well for a long day at the airport. Be aware that you will make some noise in these, that swish swish sound. But it's not too bad unless you are in a super quiet place. The pockets are great.

These trousers were the reason for me to fall in love with the Fjällräven brand. I 've used them extensively while camping, tenting, hiking and- yes- winter mountaineering. I absolutely love the design, materials and functionality. Those were my first pair of hiking pants with pre- bent knees and I felt the difference in comfort and freedom of movement. In hot summer days, they might feel a bit heavy, so the ventilations are essential to keep you cool. I can appreciate the front pockets as well, as they have enough depth and are easy to reach on the go. My pair is ageing quite well and has no issues with the durability even after extensive use and washing cycles- the color on the G- 1000 does start to fade a bit, but it looks even cooler that way. Overall these are one of my favorite trousers. For the winter mountain, they are a bit baggy and may get in the way of your crampons, so I switched to a pair of Bergtagen Stretch for that. Still, they can do the job and will not let you down. For all other seasons, they are unbeatable.

They are able to have a polished look with a nice jacket or sweater but are also super comfy with a tee or sweat shirt. I particularly love them for travel- comfortable and neat- looking. They wash well and are more durable than they seem they should be- though I 'd probably not bushwhack in them or subject them to abrasive terrain. They are good for 3 season use- all but snowy winter months. They also fit my curvier figure- so might be a bit baggy on very slender, straighter frames. The material was relatively breathable for being so durable. I really like these trousers. I wanted a pair of hiking trousers that looked a little more stylish and can be worn in a multitude of scenarios. I have them in green, a pleasing military shade, and like the fact they are all a single block of colour unlike many two- tone hiking trousers( which I personally find a little uncool). Material is flexible facilitating easy and fluid movement and is durable but not heavy. The cut is straight, not baggy, a little more slim than most walking trousers. The elasticated hem is practical and aids with the slimmer line of the trouser. The 3 pockets are all zipped which is practical. The yellow logo on the back is cool. I would recommend and may also buy in the blue colour too.

I ’ ve put a ton of wear and tear on these pants with backpacking, hiking, rock climbing, and general travel. For being as breathable and light as these are, they hold up to abrasions pretty well. I ’ ve had tons of branches, rocks, and trees slide on these without any major damage. The integrated shoelace/string belt on the interior of the waist is a great little compliment to the external belt loops, no extra bulk with a little extra security. One small negative I have for these are the elastic cinches at the cuffs. They ’ ve held up fine so far, but I ’ m always worried about losing one of the little clips that go on them. Just make sure you loosen them before taking the pants off and double check that the 2 pieces are still there.

I love these pants for hiking and backpacking. The material breathes well, dries quickly and is cool in hot weather but warm enough when actively hiking into the upper 40s even in a mild breeze. The draw cord at the waist is very nice and works well. Eliminate need for a belt, which gets in the way when carrying a backpack. The draw chords at the cuffs are nice, but they require a plastic attachment, which is easily lost. They should be supplied with one or two replacements when purchased.

The transit pants are a step- up in fashion compared to the standard Ferrosi pants. Granted I 'm not a fashion master as my wife reminds me but these are versatile enough to wear climbing or to work. They do n't have the zipper thigh pocket but as I mentioned this gives them a slightly more formal look and fit. Obviously it goes without saying that they are comfortable, stretchy and lightweight like the entire Ferrosi line. Sometimes the Ferrosi line is known to pill but I have n't noticed any yet after a couple of months wear.

They are just so comfortable with just a little give to where if I 'm working with a lot of squatting or bending, it is just as comfortable as when I 'm going to the movies or lounging about. Very versatile and a great fit.

I recently purchased a pair of Columbia Men's Cobble Creek 5 Pocket Pants. The material is relaxed fitting but also feels like a durable product. Like a pair of your favorite jeans I believe I will be able to wear and enjoy these pants for a long time. Columbia is still a great outdoor brand and Dick ’s Sporting Goods has a wide selection on their apparel. Very happy with my purchase.

Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. Too early to tell on how durability will compare but definitely feels like it ’ ll perform better Very happy with all the changes made!
