I 'm about 6' 0 '', 170 lbs, very lean — similar to VRST ambassador Devonta `` Smitty '' Smith. Please, I 'm practically begging you: offer more colors! A lighter grey, balsam green, deeper khaki, or a good shade of red — I 'd buy every one. Also, consider adding belt loops. Keep the stretchy liner at the waist, maybe tweak or remove the strings that get destroyed in the dryer, but belt loops would make it easy to tuck in a polo without looking ridiculous on the course. Love the fit, love the material, and I 'd throw even more money your way with these small updates. Thanks for considering it — I think the brand is highly competitive in this crowded space and is well- positioned to take another step forward.

This is my first free people purchase. They are very oversized. For reference I am 5 ’ 5 and around 145- 150lbs and I ordered a medium. I wanted the oversized look, but I could ’ ve gone with a small. I think because these are not meant to be high waisted, the waist is a lot bigger than it normally would be for a medium. I do have to pull them up really high and tie them tight with the drawstring, otherwise they will drag on the ground( So, good for tall girlies!). The fabric is light weight, which is what I wanted for the summer time. I also like how they look, just wish the fit was a bit better. Great pants. Best fitting Carhartt pants I have had. Fabric is great feeling and looking though it does show wrinkles a bit more than I would prefer. Pocket layout is nearly perfect. My only gripe with them is that the extra pocket that is thigh level on the right side is pretty much pointless. If I put anything in it I can feel it on the back of my knee and it gets in the way when sitting. When there is nothing in the pocket I can sometimes feel the lining or stitching from it. I think the pants would be better if it was just omitted.

[ I 've been on the hunt for a comfortable trouser that is n't super corporate professional looking, and when I saw these on the app, I do n't think I 've added to cart and checked out faster. I think these are the perfect trouser/yoga pant combo. I 've worn them out to dinner and feel totally comfortable styling them with a t- shirt during weekend errand runs. Immediately after taking them out of the package, the fabric feels like your standard workout material, but it's heavy and looks so flattering on. I love that they have weight to them as a trouser or a jean would. They sit so nice on my waist and do n't roll down. However, the length. I am 5' 5 '' and they are super long, but have styled them with some sneakers that have a platform or give me a little lift and it's not a problem. I noticed the model in the photos was 5'10 '' and they 're just about touching the floor, so that's a great representation of how long they are. I just love the way they fit and look, and have already ordered the other colors.

The high waist gives good support without being tight, and the wide- leg cut makes them easy to wear. My wife has been using them for her evening runs and loves them. She says they don ’ t cling, don ’ t overheat, and feel great the whole time. Solid choice if you want something comfortable that actually works for being active.
