I love these pants! They are so comfortable for lounging and everyday wear. I like to pair with a cropped t- shirt. They are easy to move, wrinkle free, and stylish. Sometimes, I find Prana pants to be tight in the thigh, but these have lots of room. I am 5'6 '', 115 lbs, and the XS fits perfectly.

I 've been using this for a couple months now and really like it! I 've found it cuts ~75- 80% of felt wind and even as a softshell shrugs occasional rain pretty well. Mine wet out after about 25 minutes in light/medium rain and when soaked was n't transferring much water to my baselayer. Perfect when you really should 've brought a Helium Rain but you did n't. While not quite breathable enough for me when running unless its real cold( I 'm a warm person) it's great for everything less aerobic than that for me. The cuffs are elastic on the inside of your wrist which works well with a watch. The single hood cinch works well to keep your hood on while minimizing adjustments. Pocket linings double as vents, are big enough for a smartphone or light gloves, and are not sewn down at the top allowing you to stash your map or mail in a pinch. The Hood stow works well when you plan to use it, but I did find myself just tucking the hood inside if I was in a rush and could n't be bothered to roll it up. The hem cinch is located on the right side and is easy to adjust one handed and has low profile hardware which is fine under a backpack belt. I 'm 5'11/ 210#/ 43 '' chest and wear a Men's Large size tshirt and find the size large fits me perfectly with a trim fit. Key for me with fit is that in my other OR jackets like the Foray and Superstrand I 've needed to size up to XL to have the hem fit over my butt. Not so with the Ferrosi- the stretchiness of the fabric and cut works perfectly for me. I normally wear an echo or vigor top underneath mine and layer any insulation over. If I wanted to put insulation under the Ferrosi I would need to size up once. The jacket is lighter, and more flattering than my other windshell from another company. Combined with the comfiness of the stretch I 've found myself grabbing it when just going out running errands and it's almost always at the top of my pack heading out into the woods now.

Perfect softshell! I have been using it for daily commute, rock climbing and everything in between. It breaths nicely and cuts the wind just enough to protect you from the element. The fabric is nice and stretchy. With a base layer or insulated jacket under it, it is really versatile. Everybody can benefit from that product. Jacket is true to size

I really enjoy this material and the stretch it gives. Tons of uses: gym, walkabout town, Florida in November, shell over down, New Mexico summer nights or August winds, and early morning range days. I appreciate the extra attention to detail in the areas where someone would have a lot of contact or friction like carrying a pack.
When selecting wall climbing clothes, consider features that enhance mobility and comfort. Look for materials that are lightweight, breathable, and stretchable to allow for a full range of motion. Additionally, consider clothing with moisture-wicking properties to help keep you dry during intense climbs. Reinforced areas, such as knees and seat, can also provide added durability against wear and tear.
To choose the right size for climbing apparel, it's important to consider both your body measurements and the specific fit preferences for climbing. Start by measuring your waist, hips, and inseam, and compare these measurements to the sizing chart provided by the brand. Climbing clothes should fit snugly to prevent excess fabric from getting in the way, but they should also allow for a full range of motion. Additionally, consider the type of climbing you will be doing, as some styles may require a looser or more fitted design.
When selecting wall climbing clothing, look for materials that offer durability, breathability, and flexibility. Fabrics like nylon and polyester are commonly used due to their strength and resistance to wear and tear. Additionally, materials with moisture-wicking properties help keep you dry and comfortable during climbs. Stretchy fabrics, often blended with spandex, allow for a full range of motion, which is essential for climbing activities.
Yes, there are specific styles of climbing clothes designed for various types of climbing activities. For example, rock climbing often requires durable, flexible materials that allow for a full range of motion, while bouldering may benefit from lightweight and breathable fabrics. Additionally, climbing in colder conditions might necessitate layering options that provide warmth without sacrificing mobility. Choosing the right style can enhance comfort and performance during your climbing experience.
Breathability is an important factor in wall climbing clothes as it helps regulate body temperature and moisture during intense physical activity. Climbers often experience varying conditions, and breathable fabrics allow sweat to evaporate, keeping the body dry and comfortable. This can enhance performance and focus while climbing, as well as reduce the risk of overheating. Choosing breathable materials can contribute to a more enjoyable climbing experience.
When selecting climbing apparel, consider a fit that allows for a full range of motion while providing comfort. Look for clothing that is snug but not restrictive, as this will help prevent snagging on holds and enhance your mobility. Additionally, features like adjustable waistbands and articulated joints can improve the overall fit and performance during climbs. Breathable and moisture-wicking materials are also important to keep you comfortable as you move.
While you can wear regular athletic wear for wall climbing, specialized clothing is often recommended for better performance and comfort. Climbing-specific apparel is designed with features such as stretch, breathability, and durability to accommodate the movements and demands of climbing. These garments typically offer a better fit and additional functionality, such as pockets for gear or reinforced areas for added protection. Choosing the right clothing can enhance your climbing experience and help you focus on your performance.
Wearing layered clothing while climbing offers several advantages. It allows for better temperature regulation, as you can add or remove layers based on changing weather conditions and your activity level. Layered clothing also provides flexibility and comfort, enabling a full range of motion while climbing. Additionally, moisture-wicking and breathable materials help keep you dry and comfortable during intense physical exertion.
Weather conditions play a crucial role in selecting climbing clothes, as they influence both comfort and performance. In warmer weather, lightweight, breathable fabrics that wick moisture are ideal to keep climbers cool and dry. Conversely, in cooler or windy conditions, layering with insulated and wind-resistant materials can help maintain body heat while allowing for flexibility and movement. Additionally, waterproof options may be necessary in wet environments to ensure climbers stay dry and comfortable.
Different climbing activities can require specific clothing options to enhance performance and comfort. For bouldering, climbers often prefer lightweight and flexible apparel that allows for a full range of motion. Sport climbing may call for durable, abrasion-resistant materials to withstand the rigors of the rock face, while trad climbing often benefits from layered clothing to adapt to changing weather conditions. Additionally, outdoor climbing may necessitate moisture-wicking fabrics to manage sweat and keep climbers dry.
