Sometimes these Winterized/Repel long- sleeve running tops run a size too big, like they ’ re weren ’ t sure if they intended them to be worn as a first or second layer. I ’ m between Men ’s S/M. Small in the DFADV Stride tops because they ’ re huge. This one fits like a first layer, but has juuuuuust enough space if you wanted to wear a single layer under it. Only gripe is that the collar sits a little wonky, unless you have it zipped all the way up.

[ This trainer is SO soft! I ca n't get over how the inside of it feels like a yummy fleece but without the weight of a fleece jacket. In other words, I live in South Florida where it rarely gets chilly, but this is a great material for a cool morning walk or if you like keeping the AC low indoors! I am typically a size 18 on top and the XXL fits just right, so I would say this runs on the smaller side if you 're looking for a looser fit. The gray color is mild and matches well with various colors. All around, a great top that you can wear to lounge or for an activity.

[ I love my Nike Therma fit one top. It ’s sleek and sporty and super comfy. The fabric has tons of stretch for comfort and ease during a workout, but is a good thickness( not as thick as a fleece and not as thin as leggings) and matte and therefore very flattering. I had it on during one of those Fall days where you think “ it ’s probably 65 out ” but it ’s really 50 degrees. And I was plenty warm. I like the length of the top- it sits just below the hip. I am 5 ’ 7 ” and a size 8 in clothes and the medium is perfect with a tank top underneath. I love the soft gray color and subtle swoosh on the side( I usually don ’ t go for big logos!). The collar sits nicely upright with it unzipped. Only thing I noticed that I didn ’ t love is the small neck hole. If you have makeup on and a ponytail( and a big head like I do!) it ’s a snug squeeze and you ’ ll either smudge makeup on the inside of the shirt or you ’ ll mess up your hair if you don ’ t carefully pull it on. Otherwise- it ’s an awesome sleek top.

I got this primarily for motorcycling in colder weather. It works great. I can wear this with my jacket and jacket liner and I do n't have to wear other layers. I 've only used it so far riding in 50 degree weather but it was warm enough I had to turn it down or off. I usually wear a large but wanted it to fit tighter so I got a medium. The medium fits great. I would say the medium fits me perfect where normally I would wear a large t- shirt or long sleeve. Not too tight but not loose. Have n't had long enough to know how long the battery would last but have used it for a couple hours switching between high and medium and still have battery left. I am generally a small/medium( 5 ’ 7 ”, 125 lbs, athletic) and I ordered a small and it fit perfectly. Medium was too wide in my underarms and too long. I live in Florida and use this for winter trips to NY and for winter hiking.

[ If you ’ re even thinking of going up to the mountains to ski or snowboard for a few days you better have all the layers for any conditions. Unless you want to freeze or be sipping hot cocoa in the lodge while your crew are a ripping it up. There is no equal when it comes to this base layer. Warmth and comfort all day. Very well made flannel. It feels like thick vintage flannel from your Dad. Thinker than North Face Arroyo flannels. Reading other reviews, the size recommendations are all over the place… stick true to size. I am 6 ’ 0 ”, 170 lb with long armed canoeing/running build and bought a large in this( and wear a large across North Face and other brands of flannels). This Valley Twill fits very similar to the North Face Arroyo flannel… except this Valley Twill is about 1 ” shorter in the body. Compared to other flannels that I own this is slightly shorter in body… but everything else accurate. The Pike ’s Purple flannel color looks great and was half- off on Dick ’s website. Great value for thick flannel. Recommended.
