[ These shorts are great. I prefer them over the ROC Lite short because they are less prone to wrinkling and have a drawstring so I do n't need a belt. The ripstop like, grid material wo n't work for everyone in social situations but its fine for me and the material is excellent for high output activities. I just wish these came in a 28 '' waist. The 30 '' waist is huge on me so I have to cinch the drawstring down which makes the material at the waist bunch up( I 'm a 5' 5 '', 130 lbs guy). The only other improvement I could think of would be to add a similar comfort waistband to the one found on the ROC series.

[ We 've worn Columbia apparel for years with no issues. Gave this a 4 for the sizing. I ordered the size that matched with their guide. Waist was fine but the shorts are slimmer in the hip than the size chart suggests. You 'll want to go up a size.
