Easy to dress up or down with the seam down the leg. I will warn people that they do run long as it is the perfect length on me as someone who is 5 ’ 7- 5 ’ 8 and usually between regular and long lengths( got a R length). Just the right bagginess to be comfy at home, skating, lounging, or running errands. Still a little short in the length for 5 ’ 11 ”, 194, but absolutely loves these and feel blessed to own the navy, khaki/tan, and the black. The hand pockets have a quality zip closure, and the cargo pockets have a nice button closure that is solid. Thermals or sleep flannel underneath in the winter are a great pair. Great pants. Best fitting Carhartt pants I have had. Fabric is great feeling and looking though it does show wrinkles a bit more than I would prefer. Pocket layout is nearly perfect. My only gripe with them is that the extra pocket that is thigh level on the right side is pretty much pointless. If I put anything in it I can feel it on the back of my knee and it gets in the way when sitting. When there is nothing in the pocket I can sometimes feel the lining or stitching from it. I think the pants would be better if it was just omitted.

Super cozy! Nicely oversized…the rise( waistband to crotch) is super long which isn ’ t my favorite, but the pants are so comfortable and cozy that I ’ ll deal with that. If you ’ re getting the brown color, be aware it ’s more mauve than brown. Other colors( my family bought every color) are true to the photos.

These pants have a medium to lightweight fabric. I would say they are good for all seasons except winter. They are SLIGHTLY looser fitting than other joggers I have purchased( same brand), and tthey have somewhat of a wrinkly casual look. [ I have the impossibly soft pants and they really are that comfortable. It feels like wearing pajama like swears that look like relaxed fit pants. The pants run a little long( since they are n't sized by inches) but you can easily roll them up or hem them permanently. My favorite thing about these pants are that they are stylistically more appropriately fitting to wear out in public while being this comfortable. They are n't something you could wear as general professional attire though. I strongly recommend these pants and would encourage you to get them if you 're looking for every day relaxed fit pants.

[ I found these pants to be amazing while I was out skateboarding. They somehow managed to always feel cool, even when the rest of me was hot, and at no point did I feel a damp spot from sweat. I worried at first that they were going to be restrictive while skating, but they had a good amount of stretch to them, and the pants stayed firmly on my hips, even with all the leg movement. Fashion wise again I was quite surprised. The little fake zipper flap area around the crotch was enough to make it look like I was n't just wearing sweats out of the house. I am surprised that a little thing like that could make such a difference. Design wise I would no change anything. They drawstring is well hidden inside, the material both looks and feels comfortable and stylish without looking tacky. The taper down the leg led to a snug fit around my ankles, which allowed me to showcase my shoes while wearing and skateboarding in them, which is highly important to me since I take great pride in my show collection and do n't like when they become hidden by pants.

The fabric is soft and thick, making them perfect for days on the colder side. The tapered leg keeps me from tripping over myself while on the court while the drawstring( interior) waistband makes tightening and loosening the pants a breeze. The two features I like most are the numerous pockets( front slit pockets, hidden zipper pocket in right slit pocket, and back zipper pocket) and the front bungee loop. Anyone who has ever sat down and had the contents of their pants pocket slide out can appreciate the security of a zipper pocket! The bungee loop is multifunctional; I ’ ve used it to hang my work badge when I wear the pants to work, I ’ ve also used it to attach my keys and hang the pants to dry.
