[ First, the pockets.... two large zippered pockets in front, another in back, and a deep side pocket as well. So functional. Next, quality... very well made and very polished look. And finally comfort.... love the light stretchy material. Great for fishing or not fishing!

[ This is the second time I have purchased these shorts. I finally wore out the first pair which I purchased 2 years ago. I know the shorts are designed for fishing and ocean- related stuff. Yes, I use them for everyday wear as well as for the sport I play which is Lawn Bowls. The side pocket is great for holding everything from my lip balm to my measure for bowls. The only thing I find that is not so good is the stitching along the bottom of front pockets had to be resewn as this just does n't seem to hold. Other than that This is a great pair of shorts.

I 'm btwn a small and medium for bottoms, so I purchased a medium. There's a little wiggle room, and could have gone down to a small. I like the length and that it fits nicely on my hips.

I got the coze up tank to go with it and it's a perfect match. I normally wear smalls in Prana shorts but these had just a little too much room in them. I could tie them and make them fit perfectly but I would have to tie them very tightly and why sacrific the comfort. I 'm hoping the XS fits better.

Nice solid short for running or walking. The tie at waist is sewn on In one part so it doesn ’ t unravel or get lost in the wash. That ’s helpful. The crossover tie is a cute detail but not necessary.

[ We 've worn Columbia apparel for years with no issues. Gave this a 4 for the sizing. I ordered the size that matched with their guide. Waist was fine but the shorts are slimmer in the hip than the size chart suggests. You 'll want to go up a size.
