Heck, I wore it duck hunting. This hat works splendidly and really does a great job keep your head warm in all elements. Merino wool is the cats pajamas. I purchased this hat about a month ago, and I wear it everywhere every day. It's a light weight hat, but keeps my head extremely warm but not to a point where I need to take it off. I can wear it indoors without my head sweating due to the amazing Merino Wool, or outside in the harsh Minnesota deep freeze we are experiencing and my head remains a perfect temperature. It looks good too. I will absolutely be purchasing another one of these next year but a different color for different occasions!!! Thank you Smart Wool for never disappointing me.

It's a lightweight, foldable beanie that provides warmth equivalent to that of a regular wool hat. I bought this beanie in various colors because unlike my wool hat, it is washable( washing machine) and foldable. It saves me$ from buying wool cleaners. I 've already washed it a couple of times and it still provides the same warmth as a brand new one. I could just stuff it into my jacket pocket in case of a sudden cold snap.

This is by far the best winter beanie out there. One thing to note though, is they are n't messing around when they say 'hand wash only'. It will shrink! I can verify that does n't mean the hand wash cycle on your machine either;). Altogether a great purchase, I learned my lesson and bought another one to have for years to come!

It's a thick, warm double knit made from lambswool, and the wide edge is a major factor in why it fits so great and stays in place. It is snug to the head but not tight, so I never have to adjust it. As a Swede myself, I love the logo! I purchased the grey one, and it's a lovely color that goes with everything. I 'll probably purchase another one in a different color, I like it that much.
