[ I have many wool items but the Smartwool ultralight 120 collection is amazing for hot summers. I wore this hoodie at Disney in Anaheim in mid- August and it offered sun protection while keeping me cool and dry. At night when things cooled off it offered the perfect amount of warmth. I do wish that the collar was a little more open but then it would n't be as great for sun protection. Highly recommend.

I can imagine wearing it lots more this fall and winter. I ordered a Large and it is roomy.. sleeves are just long enough for me. [ This hoodie can go everywhere from hiking to work to travel. I initially got a small size. It would work great with a sports bra or tank for more streamline effect. I returned it for a medium which is perfect for more layering- like with another 200gr shirt and acts more like a cardigan. Will be a wonderful flexible piece for travelling.
