[ I bought this knife because it reminded me of the Buck 110 my old man gave me as a gift when I was a kid . I liked that gift a lot and used that knife for many many years . I always hoped Buck would remake a high quality modern version of the 110 model . Well Benchmade beat them to it . The knife opens and closes butter smooth . This knife is very similar to the Benchmade 940 but with a nostalgic appearance . I love the axis lock . I love how this knife looks . For quite a few years now I have treated myself to a new Twitch II for the holidays . This year, when I read that the Twitch III had been released, I just had to have one! The slim profile fits nicely in your front pocket . The assisted open is lightning fast . While I wasn ’ t so sure if I liked the lock position in front of the blade, it does allow for one handed closing . I have only bought 1 Freeman . I have had this blade for a lot of years . I think the reason for the broken blades, I read about in some of the reviews, is from trying to use it as a screwdriver or pry bar . I have seen blades break many times from them not being use for its intended purpose( that will happen with any knife, make or model) . When you use a knife to cut things, it will get dull . That's a given with ANY knife . My Freeman holds its edge very well . When someone asks to borrow my knife, I always ask what it is they will be doing with it . To many knives have been broken by people not using them properly . My Freeman is built very solid and has always been reliable . I use it every day . The sheath, however, is not wear resistant . My sheath is completely worn out . To me, this is normal . I carry mine in the vertical position on my right side . Very easy to get to quickly, and it's out of my way . I would very highly recommend this knife to anyone( who knows how to use one, lol) .

I picked up this knife for a shop over 5 yeara ago, still carry it to this day . If you wear jeans with the little pocket above your bigger right front pocket, this knife fits perfectly in there so toss out whatever belt case Gerber gives you for this knife and keep it in that pocket . I have worn holes in my pants from keeping this knife in that spot on a daily basis! The knife is strong, well balanced, feels great in the hand . I 've had some blade wiggle but it's a simple retightening of a bolt . I 've worn off the rubber from the grip and I know if I ever get another one of these knives( which I will) I 'm going to put my worn grip on the new one! Only downside if that little bolt that fixes the wiggle, it strips really easy . If they used better metal or a different head like a robinson or something, it wouldnt strip as easy . Ive used and abused this knife, I use it camping, hunting, general work, no problems . Holds an edge really well, easy to sharpen .

Years ago when I was younger and less in the funds, carried a trident as my edc because it was well priced, comfortable, and durable . I recently came across this relatively new version and decided to give it a go for Nostalgia ’s sake . Man is this thing cool . It ’s super solid without feeling too heavy, it ’s comfortable in the hand, and really just an all- around fun fidget knife . The AT action is crisp and powerful . My only gripe that ’s not really a gripe is that the new closed locking mechanism will take some getting used to in its place on the top of the knife as opposed to in the handle . I ’ ve yet to put this one through the ringer, but it feels even more solid than the previous iterations, and I used to beat the hell out of those things .

This is a great knife . Perfectly balanced and opens very fast and with intentions . If you have to deploy the knife for protection, whoever is on the other end is gon na be second guessing their self after hearing and seeing this bad boy open . I see some people have complained about the clip but it goes smoothly in and out of my pocket, with no trouble at all . It's actually one of the best clips I 've used honestly . I ca n't even tell there's a knife in my pocket . I have to check sometimes and give myself a quick pat on the pocket, just to make sure it's in there . The knife is a little longer than I anticipated but it's worked out great for me . It's really no problem . It has just the right weight and balance and it's exactly what I wanted . I would like to see this knife about an inch shorter . I 'd definitely buy it again . Just to clarify, the size is fine because of the perfect balance and weight . I 'd just like to see a smaller version, that's all . Before this knife, I carried a Gerber Highbrow, Compact version for about a year and it was heavy compared to the Flash AT . I can put my phone in the same pocket as the Flash AT and not have to worry about scratching up my phone . It stays so well placed in my pocket because of the deep carry pocket clip . If you 're thinking about getting this knife, I say go for it . You wo n't be disappointed . Great job SOG!

I purchased this over the Benchmade Bugout; I have no regrets . I love the Flash AT over the Bugout! Given I respect and love Benchmade, I just prefer the Flash AT! Can sharp out of the box; no flaws; heavy duty, this knife is heavier so if you want lightweight the Flash AT, doesn ’ t achieve that, but it sure does have heavy built; so if you ’ re like me that prefers a heavy duty combat knife that is a beast this knife sure achieves that .

Very tough light! I really like that you can just pulse the button without having to fully turn it on . The clip is tight and does loosen up . I have actually replaced my previous Coast EDC light with the Flash AT Petrol . Excellent light, and would definitely get another one .

Bought this for my wife and she loves it . We own several SOGs and have never been disappointed . Only ever had one issue when the SOG logo plate fell out of the handle of one of them . Their customer service was excellent and sent out a new plate that I glued in . The ONLY thing that keeps the Flash AT from getting a 5 star rating in my book is that the thumb post for opening it could be slightly bigger . It ’s a little tough to get a good purchase on with my bigger thumbs and the rather sharp point actually hurts a bit when you push on it . Otherwise great daily utility knife .

This is an excellent blade . I use my knife upwards of at least 100 times per day while doing my job in hospital supplies . I bring it home on the weekends, clean the adhesive off, and hit it with a steel for a couple min to bring back that razor edge . I especially like the clip . I wear scrubs and the Aegis AT clips perfect in the V of my scrubs top . It's not a heavy knife, but the weight is noticeable so you know if you have it on you . The easy open/close is also awesome because I can operate the knife completely one handed . I now have three of these blades . Easy to operate and easy to keep sharp . I love this series

I use this knife for skinning and quartering axis deer, and of all the knives I have( even those made for skinning deer) this knife is my favorite . Just the right size, holds an edge well, sharpens quickly, and hasn ’ t broken a tip while separating hip sockets . Have been using for over two years now( I harvest about 12- 15 deer per year in Hawaii where there is no deer season and way too many deer) . I really like this knife's bigger brother, the Bugout and thought I would try this one, but it is too small for my large hands .
