I can ’ t wait to visit the backcountry with this pack! The internal frame is sturdy and the padded back section offers ample cushioning and super. Two side pockets for water and a 65L internal capacity make this pack stand tall against more expensive brands.

This is a really large backpack with many compartments and quite a bit of adjustability. I was really impressed with how light this was compared to it's size. Lots of padding on the straps, and quite a few handles to lift it when you are n't wearing it. Overall I 'm very impressed.

This is a solid pack! Lots of thoughtful storage. Feels good on although I haven ’ t had time to take it out on a trail yet. There is a rain fly included and I really like the padding on the hip belt. Good quality and value all around.

My torso is 17 '' so I purchased the S/M size expecting it to be on the shortest setting. I found I needed to have it just under the longest setting to fit me correctly with the middle of the hip belt on my iliac crest. I think you might be able to squeeze into this pack if your torso is 19 '' maximum. Easily the most comfortable pack I have tried on, very happy with my purchase.

[ This is my first true backpacking pack so I do n't have much to compare this to, but it seems great! Plenty of adjustment options to get the perfect fit. High quality material and zippers. Seams all appear to be strong. Looking forward to many great trips with it!

[ My wife loves this backpack. She ’s 5 ’ even, which means a lot of frames can be too big. Osprey put together a great fit, and she loves the hip belt system. The pack also seems really well- made.

Spent three months backpacking in Europe upon my retirement, at age 65, with this wonderful Osprey backpack! We traveled in all kinds of weather and used all modes of transportation! Also, have been backcountry camping in Canada, California, and Colorado! She still looks new after a busy 10 years on and off the trails! I am currently looking to downsize to a smaller Osprey backpack…walking the Camino in a few months! Only an Osprey works for me!!

Bought this pack for a short backpacking trip on the Napali Coast. I have lower back pain so I needed a pack that distributed the weight very well. My pack was about 30- 35lbs and I made it the entire trip without any pain or even soreness in my low back. It was quite incredible considering the many elevation changes- I 'm definitely impressed. I will say that toward the end on our hike out my shoulders began to cramp up so I had to do some adjusting to the straps but I think it's just I did n't have it set right. I really really love this pack and it's worth the investment!

[ Our first packaging trip, and it was perfect! I tried on a few different packs, and this one was by far the most comfortable. Though it was uncomfortable under the straps at times, as I suspect they all would have been considering the weight I was carrying, I did not have any pains or soreness after removing the pack. Alsp, lots of pockets for organization and places to attach items to the outside of the pack.

When selecting a 55-liter backpack, consider features such as adjustable straps for comfort, multiple compartments for organization, and a hydration reservoir compatibility. Additionally, look for durable materials that can withstand various weather conditions and a supportive frame that distributes weight evenly. Ventilation and padding in the back panel can also enhance comfort during long hikes.

55-liter backpacks are versatile and ideal for activities such as hiking, camping, and multi-day trekking trips. They provide ample space for carrying essential gear, clothing, and supplies needed for extended outdoor adventures. Their capacity makes them suitable for both short weekend trips and longer excursions, depending on how you pack.

To achieve a proper fit for a 55-liter backpack, adjust the shoulder straps, hip belt, and load lifters to ensure the pack sits comfortably on your back. The hip belt should rest on your hips, while the shoulder straps should not dig into your shoulders. It's also important to try the backpack with some weight in it to assess how it feels during movement.

55-liter backpacks are typically made from durable materials such as nylon or polyester, which provide resistance to wear and tear. Additionally, check airline regulations regarding carry-on sizes to ensure compliance.

The primary differences between men's and women's 55-liter backpacks often lie in the fit and design.
