First pair of roller skates. Good price. I like the low top because they are easy to get into. I wear a 7 in womens( very wide feet).( My left foot is about 6. 5) and the 6's fit me well with about a half inch in the front. I wish the toe stopper was black. Been out in the flat parking garage with them a couple of times and they roll well. I do n't think I would take them anywhere that is n't super smooth even when I get better.

Skates have weight and roll nice, they are super padded and feel comfortable. I 'm new to skating and I 'm not sure about these skates, they seem very slippery to me. I may need a skate with a heel. Flat skates are more for speed and derby. Roller Derby is a great entry level brand so I may just try another skate from their line.

I got these skates for my son as early birthday gift. He loves them and he loves them all he wants to do is skate all day long. I would recommend them for beginners. They work for inside only but outdoors the wheels are hard for him to skate.
