I 'll start with the not great part first. Break in period was tough- probably b/c prior to this, I have n't skated since the Mighty Ducks franchise was in theaters. Once broken in, these babies fit like a perfectly- worn glove and they perform like Kobe in the clutch. Agile, fast, smooth, and supportive, my Twister XTs are BY FAR the best skates I 've ever worn. As good as advertised, do yourself a favor. Stop looking and buy yourself a pair.

These twisters arrived today and they are very pretty!! well done!! my observation for others: 1. I am size 10/28cm in my usual shoe; I was unsure whether to choose 10/10. 5 or 11/11. 5!! I chose 10/10. 5 and they are perfect, they are super comfortable, I went out of the house and at what speed they take they look like a rocket!! I have 21 years without skating, I am 33 years old, I think I made a good choice in this 3- wheel model, everything is practice, the good thing is that I have a notion of skating!! My foot is normal to a little narrow, I would n't recommend it for people with wide feet... it says on the box that it comes with an Allen wrench but it did n't come with it:(,, it comes with an insole included which would be your size 10, if you remove it it reaches 10. 5.. it comes with 2 red/black braids.. I feel like you should bring your Allen wrench and a small oil for the bearings!!

I did extensive research on a set of Urban Blades and ended up grabbing these ones. The pricepoint is worth the quality! I 'm happy to review as it's hard to find female reviewers in this community! The Boots fit great. I read so many reviews that these boots run small and the recommendation was to size up. I wear a size 9 in Tennis shoes and got the 9/9. 5. They fit great no matter if I have thin or thick set of socks on. They are pretty lightweight, but feel extremely supportive in the frame and boot. The laces and straps will keep your foot/ankle locked in for maximum support and speed! Be warned-- these Skates are FAST! I was an avid blader in my teens and just decided to pick it back up at 29! I 've been skating streets and sidewalks and the skates really handle the different textures of concrete. I did install the brake that came with it and have a goal to remove it by Friday( will officially be one week back into blading). These skates can handle Tstops, power glides/stops-- you name it! The hydrogen wheels are pretty dreamy and smooth. I feel like these skates are responsive and do n't feel out of control at all. So much thought went into the engineering of this product and I 'm thrilled I was able to grab a pair. I LOVE them and skate every day. I wear a 7 in womens( very wide feet).( My left foot is about 6. 5) and the 6's fit me well with about a half inch in the front. I wish the toe stopper was black. It amazes me how much better you can skate owning your own pair of skates rather then renting them at the roller rink. My Grandsons skating improved 100% within one night of skating with these new skates. You figure the average rate to rent skates is about 4. 50 per night. Wanted to get into inline skating as a low impact exercise. Was in my teens last time I did. Running is too hard on the knees. These are great for the price. The wheels are HUGE and great for outdoor skating. I would n't recommend for beginners. Get smaller wheels if you 're just learning. Only downside so far is the straps tend to not stay tight. They loosen very easily. I 'm 6' 6 with 13 size shoe. These are true to size. Wearing these 195mm wheels and I 'm over 7' tall which is a long way to fall. Make sure you get safety gear as these have no brake.

I bought these because I needed rollerblades that would do well on uneven sidewalks and/or rocks/pebbles on the road. I figured with the big wheels, that would help... and I was right! They are very sturdy, comfortable and fantastic quality. The only cons I ’ ve come across are that they ’ re not very agile and feel a little clunky and heavy. I wish they were made with two wheels instead of three. However, 3 wheels are probably better for a beginner/average skater( since it provides better front to back stability), but I wish there was a 2- wheel option for more advanced skaters. Overall though, I am very happy with these skates.

If I could rate it with half stars I would give 4. 5 stars. I love that the size of the skates can change but my almost 3 year old has big feet so he is already using them with the biggest size. So he will outgrow them quickly. I love that these come with the protective pads so he is safe while using these skates. He still needs to learn how to balance even with the learner mode but with practice I ’ m sure he will get better! Great product and very innovative! Love that you do not need any tools to change size or modes.

These have been great so far! My kid is 8 almost 9 and he ’s been using these non stop for about two weeks now with no issues so far. I spent a lot of time researching and these seemed like the best choice to buy for a beginner without getting a cheap crummy pair. If he sticks with it, next time we can look into some more upgraded ones from the hockey store. Bonus fun fact- They light up!
