Now I can deadlift in my garage knowing I have quality weights so they are not to get ruined ... It seems to be plenty strong enough to withstand the abuse of crossfit style workouts, especially for the price compared to the bigger name

Oh my, I love this product, I practice cleans, deadlifts, etc. and I enjoy my workout in my backyard. Just be careful to drop this on concrete, because it will crack. I drop it on my synthetic grass and I enjoy it.

I purchased this set on price alone, given the cost of other bumper sets. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the bar and finish. The collars are also very good.

Great bar and weights. Solid set, wish it would have come with 35 lb weights too

I bought these a few weeks ago and love the set. The first bar had a sticky bearing, but Dick's was quick to replace it for me. The new bar spins really smooth, just like their display model. The weights have very little bounce and the clamps feel solid. Heavy, smooth bearings and even cool colors-- what more can you need?

I have had this barbell for 2+ months and use it 3- 5 times a week. I bought it to upgrade from the 300 lbs set I bought from Dick's over a year ago. Extremely happy with purchase knurling is great.

I 've been using this bar for several days now, and I have to say, it's a really great bar and is holding up to snatching/jerking overhead and dropping it just fine. The sleeves spin very nicely, the diameter( 28mm) is great for hook gripping with smaller hands like mine, and the knurling is differential. The knurling on the inner portion is less aggressive and gets very aggressive on the outer portion. This is a phenomenal bar, especially for the price. The only thing I would change is to add a center knurl.

I bought this in March at the start of the pandemic and did n't expect much. I bought what I could get at the time. I wo n't say it's as good as higher end bars but it's less than half the price. I promise you wo n't find a better$ 150 bar anywhere. The diameter is IWF standard 28 mm, the weight is accurate and the knurling is satisfactory. The only place you might notice an advantage with some better bars is in the spin. Especially if you do Olympic lifts and the bar is fully rotating. I 've read some reviews that users have had rust issues, I have not in my basement. I 've loaded up to 505 on the bar and it has performed well. It is a bit stiff but I would rather an inexpensive bar be stiff than flex to much. Great value.

And there's plenty of room for weights for my workout to grow as I grow. I ordered it online and the process was smooth. It arrived in great condition in a large tube.

Great quality bar for a great price! Good knurling that is semi aggressive which is good so your hands do n't slip, 600lb limit is great for me! Body Solid makes good quality products at a reasonable price, their combo bar is great too!

Great bar. The plate holders on each end of the bar are solid, instead of the two- piece screw- together type on cheaper bars. And the plate holders mount to the bar with good bearings that move smoothly during cleans. The bar weighs 45lbs with collars, but collars did not come with this bar. I 've only had the bar for a few weeks, and the other two Olympic bars I 've had I did not buy new. But so far I am happy with this bar and have no regrets. Oh, the bar did not arrive with end- caps on it to cover the assembly nuts, but those caps always seem to pop out during workouts anyway, so I did n't mind.

I am a semi amateur strongman who needed an axle bar for an upcoming comp. This was cheap and I jumped on it. Very well made bar. Used for clean and press, deadlifts, bench. No issues up to 500 pounds. Really hits the biceps and forearms hard during curls. Highly reccomend.

I am amazed with the quality of this barbell. I will list some of the reasons why this is my favorite barbell that I have ever used. The bar has very nice rotation on the sleeves. There is a perfect amount of knurling( not to passive and not to aggressive). The chrome finish and black coating also feely extremely well made. I find it very nice that the bar also includes a set of clamps. The packaging was also very well constructed. The barbell came in perfect condition which other companies can not do as well. This barbell is by far the best option out there and especially for your money.

Dont listen to the guy giving it one star... you dont just give it one star just because of the color difference... when writing a review you take several things in consideration: value, price, quality, durability, and is the item as described... dont get all mad if the color is wrong and write a negative review. Thats a one track mind and its unhelpful to people that want to buy this product and count on reviews for good feedback. this weight set is awesome, very good quality.

I agree the color has nothing to do with the performance of this set. you look at it this way. did you buy it for the color or to make gainz. truly a great set. I would recommend this set to anyone.

I looked at a lot of reviews prior to making this purchase. It was very easy to follow the assembly instructions, all the hardware was properly marked and I had it together in about an hour. I set everything out, and took my time following the instructions carefully. It is very well built, the welds are great, the sturdiness is reassuring, and the quality is awesome. In the$ 200 range for Olympic benches, this one is hard to beat! The incline setting could not be easier. If you are looking for a great intermediate, Olympic bench, look no further.

This unit has been a perfect fit for my garage gym. I could not have asked for a better unit. I am kind of curious as to why the 100lb limitation on the cable pull? If the cables are 2000lb tested, and 14 gage steel, why the limitation? Technically, I do n't need to go passed the 100lb limitation right not, but it wo n't be long.
