I have had this barbell for 2+ months and use it 3- 5 times a week. I bought it to upgrade from the 300 lbs set I bought from Dick's over a year ago. Extremely happy with purchase knurling is great.

5 J1991
I 've been using this bar for several days now, and I have to say, it's a really great bar and is holding up to snatching/jerking overhead and dropping it just fine. The sleeves spin very nicely, the diameter( 28mm) is great for hook gripping with smaller hands like mine, and the knurling is differential. The knurling on the inner portion is less aggressive and gets very aggressive on the outer portion. This is a phenomenal bar, especially for the price. The only thing I would change is to add a center knurl.

Using it for my home gym. Love it! Awesome deal for Cyber Monday.

Bar is everything that I wanted great price for this item

5 Robman181
I bought this in March at the start of the pandemic and did n't expect much. I bought what I could get at the time. I wo n't say it's as good as higher end bars but it's less than half the price. I promise you wo n't find a better$ 150 bar anywhere. The diameter is IWF standard 28 mm, the weight is accurate and the knurling is satisfactory. The only place you might notice an advantage with some better bars is in the spin. Especially if you do Olympic lifts and the bar is fully rotating. I 've read some reviews that users have had rust issues, I have not in my basement. I 've loaded up to 505 on the bar and it has performed well. It is a bit stiff but I would rather an inexpensive bar be stiff than flex to much. Great value.

Similar to REPs fit and finish. The overall quality is high, very impressive. The only thing that could be improved upon is not to have sticker on the sleeves. It was a pain to remove it. But the bar itself is S- tier. The knurling is awesome, the sleeves are great, the included end caps are high quality. A+

Now I can deadlift in my garage knowing I have quality weights so they are not to get ruined ... It seems to be plenty strong enough to withstand the abuse of crossfit style workouts, especially for the price compared to the bigger name

Oh my, I love this product, I practice cleans, deadlifts, etc. and I enjoy my workout in my backyard. Just be careful to drop this on concrete, because it will crack. I drop it on my synthetic grass and I enjoy it.

5 LenD
I purchased this set on price alone, given the cost of other bumper sets. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the bar and finish. The collars are also very good.

Great bar and weights. Solid set, wish it would have come with 35 lb weights too

5 MicahG
I bought these a few weeks ago and love the set. The first bar had a sticky bearing, but Dick's was quick to replace it for me. The new bar spins really smooth, just like their display model. The weights have very little bounce and the clamps feel solid. Heavy, smooth bearings and even cool colors-- what more can you need?

I bought these collars a couple wks ago, having waited months to find some at a very decent price and stumbled upon these. For being made of plastic and having a couple rubber pieces they are getting the job done. I 've had up to 246 lbs on the Olympic bar and not one slip. One of my best purchases of the year. Totally content.

5 Joe Lip
Just bought these about a week ago. They are made really well and go on and off very smooth. They can be opened with one hand while your other hand can hold the plate to be added.

Some of these bars are$ 700+ on various fitness websites, so i didn ’ t expect much at this price. The quality is much better than i expected. Completely satisfied with my purchase.

5 Jerry3344
This thing is solid and works excellent, pads are comfortable but still firm. I 'm surprised the handles are solid stainless steel, very high quality piece especially for the price. Well worth it if your looking into one of these types of barbells.

5 Aaron3377
Leaps and bounds ahead of the titan ssb. Had to return the titan it was just too uncomfortable and just felt off. This bar sits just right, my shoulders could tell the difference immediately. Far better quality and value. Well worth the price, do n't waste your money on the more expensive ones.

5 Aaron8899
Leaps and bounds better than the Titan at far better price. After trying the titan it was not that comfortable and just would n't sit right. Squats were always unstable. Decided to give the Ethos a try and glad I did. For the price, this thing is way better, padding was more comfortable, the handles are solid stainless steel, very high quality. Being rated for 1000lbs is overkill for me and probably most people. Do n't waste your money on the versions, very happy with this.

5 Thomas808
Been using for about 3 months, very comfortable and helps with my squats. I 'm able to do a little more weight and bang out more reps with this vs the straight bar. Definitely helps you focus on the core and legs and takes the burden off the upper back and shoulders. Highly recommend.

5 z0mbie
There were no other reviews that I could find on this product when I ordered it online, so I was n't sure how it would compare to some of the other open trap bar alternatives from REP, Titan, or Rogue. It's a very solid and heavy bar. The info page states it weights 55lbs, and I have n't verified the weight but it definitely feels like it. I 've added about 190 lbs to it so far and have n't noticed it sagging at all. It still easily rotates onto its legs so that you can offload the weight or add more plates. Paint and finish is good. No issues with the way that it was packaged in the box. It made it to my house without any damage. Knurling on the grips is nice, and not too aggressive. Only took about 10 minutes to put it together with 10 hex bolts. I 'm not sure where I 'm going to store this, but I 'll have to get creative.

5 fitnessgirlie97
Easy to use trap bar. Love that it stands up and has an open back.

5 Sohte
I love the functionality of this product. The self standing feature is incredible

5 Mr Crumm
Just what I was looking for. I like the open end feature over regular style bars. The price was great. And the quality for the price is good. I 've already use this bar more than I had used my previous trap bar.

5 Ben95
I ’ m extremely impressed with the price,& design of the Ethos open trap bar. There wasn ’ t any mentioned of the material used to construct this bar, but I think I was able to deduce most of the material. The sleeves appear to be chrome, tubing appears to be a black powder coat,& the knurling appears to be chrome( it is passive and close to the same knurling used in a Rogue OH bar). I got up to 405lbs with no issues, and yes you ’ ll feel a bit of a heavier front load pulling you forward since the front is heavier due to the design of the open bar. The bar is overall well balanced until hitting those upper 300lbs weight. The spin is nice because it allowed me to really lock in my wrist straps, so I highly recommend using wrist straps to lock that grip in. I highly recommend this bar.

Shopped around for some farmer carry bars and what drew my attention to these besides the great price was the knurled grips that I did n't see most if not all of the others. I ordered them on a Friday and they were delivered on Wednesday. The packaging was in good shape and there were no flaws in the finish of the bars. The bars weighed in at 22. 2lbs each on my bathroom scale. There is 12 '' of sleeve length which will allow for plenty of weight. They came with 4 spring collars which is a good thing because standard spring collars are too big. But less than standard olympic sleeve diameter seems to be the norm with all these carry bars. I did find that my hex collars will also work on them, just not as tight as on an Olympic bar. I 'm very happy with the purchase and ca n't wait to try them out.

5 Rfg1
Good solid piece of equipment. Plenty of room to add plates. Not the nicest looking welds but that won ’ t effect the performance. Good price. I highly recommend these bars

5 GoBlue850
Bars arrived in better condition than I expected and seem to be very durable.

4 leftear139
Just got them and tried them out. Paint on collars is fragile, but I 'm not sure why the collars are painted anyway( main reason for 4 not 5 stars). They seem well built otherwise and held up to the 220# I had on each of them. They are well balanced and provided quite a workout. The knurling is pretty agressive, but similar to powerlifting bars. Chalk helped.
