Great quality bar for a great price! Good knurling that is semi aggressive which is good so your hands do n't slip, 600lb limit is great for me! Body Solid makes good quality products at a reasonable price, their combo bar is great too!

Great bar. The plate holders on each end of the bar are solid, instead of the two- piece screw- together type on cheaper bars. And the plate holders mount to the bar with good bearings that move smoothly during cleans. The bar weighs 45lbs with collars, but collars did not come with this bar. I 've only had the bar for a few weeks, and the other two Olympic bars I 've had I did not buy new. But so far I am happy with this bar and have no regrets. Oh, the bar did not arrive with end- caps on it to cover the assembly nuts, but those caps always seem to pop out during workouts anyway, so I did n't mind.

Looked everywhere for the perfect Curl Bar for my grandson. He described to me where he wanted to place his hands with his thumbs resting in a certain place, he did n't want the curves of the bar being at such wide angles, and so on. So after I listened to his description I set out to find the perfect Curl Bar. I searched everywhere I could think of until I finally remembered Dicks Sporting Goods too. And there it was! The perfect Bar for the perfect price. My grandson loves it! And that makes me a really happy Gramma!

Dont listen to the guy giving it one star... you dont just give it one star just because of the color difference... when writing a review you take several things in consideration: value, price, quality, durability, and is the item as described... dont get all mad if the color is wrong and write a negative review. Thats a one track mind and its unhelpful to people that want to buy this product and count on reviews for good feedback. this weight set is awesome, very good quality.

I agree the color has nothing to do with the performance of this set. you look at it this way. did you buy it for the color or to make gainz. truly a great set. I would recommend this set to anyone.
