These VRST running shorts are incredibly comfortable! Constructed from a very thin, lightweight fabric, they almost feel as if you 're only wearing briefs. They have a sewn- in liner that does n't feel like typical, swim- trunk liners, the material is so soft you wont even know you 're wearing them. Pockets are deep enough to hold a wallet, keys and a phone. The shorts I received lie just above the knee, at 5'9, I love that... they dont make me look shorter. I 'm 250lbs and the XXL fit perfect. They 're also perforated just below the belt line and down the inseam.... it really makes a difference in keeping you cool down there!!

The outer shorts are made from a super light fabric and were great for running and the gym. The only thing I don ’ t like is the leg opening was a little large. Since the waist runs a little big as well, I would consider sizing down if you want a more slim fit.

Another nice pair of shorts from Dick's, I 've gotten quite a few now from Dick's Sporting Goods and have been happy with all of them. This pair is no exception. Really excellent shorts in fact. These are made of a thin moisture wicking material with an inner integrated' underwear' compression part. This is well- designed and it's not too tight but supportive enough for any activity, whether running or plyometrics. This are quite short, a real modern style running short length. The shorts are loose enough to not restrict your movement when you are active. But with the inner compression part you do n't need to feel self- conscious if you 're down on your back lifting your legs in a fitness class or something. The stitching seems very good, with it being stitched in an eye- pleasing way- by this I mean it's not just a plain' bag' like one- piece short- it looks good. There are two pockets on either side with the left one having an inner zipped pocked. This is n't real large but it's stretchy, so my mid- sized Samsung phone fit in it just fine. It's seems to be sturdy enough to hold a phone without it bouncing inside there. So, a really good pair of shorts, they seem to be well- made and well- designed.

First thing about these shorts is the fabric, they are made from nylon/elastin. This combo gives you a very soft stretch short that feels great on the skin and moving around will be a breeze due to the stretch it provides. Second the fabric has moisture wicking technology to prevent being sweaty and sticky as you move around. The next big plus is the 50 UPF which stands for ultraviolet protection factor meaning any area the clothing is covering will be guarded from the rays outside. I 've worn Prana Stretch Zion shorts for several years and have yet to find better all- around shorts. They 're very comfortable, light, and durable, and most importantly for me, come in a 12 '' length. I 'm 6'4 '', so my only suggestion for improvement would be to add a 14 '' option. The pockets are good- sized; the zippered thigh pocket is great for keeping keys in during water activities. The Charcoal color looks great with nearly any shirt.

I 've owned many pairs of the original Stretch Zion shorts and now have moved to the new version. The new Stretch Zion II is has a few changes, but in my opinion, they are still a great pair of shorts. The minor changes like the plastic button and the new fabric still work fine and did n't bother me. Going to the plastic button from the metal one only took a few times of wearing them to get easier to button. The new fabric is still super soft and comfortable but has a sort of shine to it when the light hits them just right. Not a big deal for me. The things that make these my favorite shorts are the comfortable fabric, the adjustable waist band, the color options, and the different pockets. They are also very versatile, I can wear them for activities like hiking and also to a nice restaurant. I own multiple pairs because I wear them all summer.

The fabric is so soft and they are wider in the leg. I do n't look good in the tight straight leg short.
