The padding in the arch strap is phenomenal. The sole is a hard rubber with the cloud foam under foot for a great combo of comfort. These things together truly make these the most comfortable slide I 've ever owned, and easily an all day walking pair. You really can walk miles in these with comfort. I got them on sale and added a voucher, basically stole them. At that price I 'll probably get some for everyone I know cheers.
