The EVO SL is the perfect shoe for threshold through uptempo easy running. The foam gives boundless energy and it ’s very lightweight for how much stack height there is. It isn ’ t the most stable shoe walking around, but when you ’ re clicking off the miles it isn ’ t as noticeable. I do with the tongue was slightly longer, the lace holes a little more flexible, and the toe box not so wide, but everything else about this shoe make it my single favorite shoe I ’ ve run in over the last 15 years.

4th and last pair of Pro3 ’s sadly. Love this shoe!! Pity it ’s gone out of production. Just works, outsole lasts, i( 86kg) get 600km+, great bounce, “ toe off ” and snug feel. You just need to work out the bottom lace fit/ looseness else it can rub on big toe knuckle if too tight. Top race day shoe, not much in it between this and other “ super shoes ”. This outsole just lasts longer. Onto Pro4 ’s, which look great but sadly sound bit softer, less mileage outsole and not getting amazing reviews atm from mates. C'est la vie

This is the kind of shoe I was looking for to stack on alot of miles. I like that the shoes has a good quality foam which feels bouncy and responsive. I also like that the shoe does n't have an aggressive rocker and no rods in the shoe; that way I 'm able to build more strength and endurance in my training. I 've been using the Boston running shoes for years, and ALWAYS go back to them. I finally found a shoe that works for my foot. Everyone has different foot styling and you have to find the one that works for you. This shoe is great for a wider toe box if you want a shoe that is more natural to the way a foot was meant to be! When you wear shoes that crowd toes together, you 'll constantly have issues, and this prevents that. The light weight shoe allows for longer distance running without weighing you down, and still has that Spring back off hard ground. With each model, they tend to fix any issues that the previous model has had, and I appreciate that!

I was a little hesitant to buy this shoe. I ’ ve been a big fan of the PureBoost and the Parley Ultraboosts and was worried it would feel too squishy. You definitely feel the difference in the cushion, but for me, it was in a good way. I ’ ve been running for more years than I want to disclose, and I am appreciating the extra spring on the step of these. The only reason I didn ’ t go 5 stars on all categories is because they are new and I can ’ t fully assess the durability yet, and for my feet, so far nothing has matched the PureBoost for fit. Overall, it ’s been great so far and I ’ m really happy with the purchase.

The Adidas Adizero Boston 12 has quickly become one of my go- to shoes. It feels light and fast, but still offers enough cushioning for longer runs. The energy return is noticeable, especially during tempo long runs at fast speeds and high elevation. For me, they addressed the issues with the 12 in the new version 13. The step in feel is much better, a little added padding around the heel and on the tongue. The upper a big improvement, including the lacing system. Midsole to me feels a bit softer and responsive, likely due to more Lightstrike pro( Adios pro 4 version) and the outsole is still great. If you 're comparing these to the Evo SL, it's an apples to oranges comparision. Boston 13's are more designed for marathon training, and IMO have a more snappy ride that's also slightly more stable than the Evo SL.

I 've only worn through one pair so far which logged over 800 walking miles, so I stick with these for a reason: 1) comfort and 2) longevity.
