Wish this had the cpu outsole of the pro 4, with that said traction can be lost on sandy surfaces. I ’ m not on dirt roads just dirty ones sometimes. I love these shoes. I was a mega fan of the SL2. 0 with the Continental rubber sole. The one difference I noticed is the sole. I ran in the SL2 after some rain and the traction was precarious. Similar to other shoes models that have been updated without the Continental soles, I did not feel comfortable running in these shoes with any moisture on the pavement. I was afraid of tweaking my knee or ankle. Otherwise, these are nice and light with enough cushion and pep.

I 've only worn through one pair so far which logged over 800 walking miles, so I stick with these for a reason: 1) comfort and 2) longevity. I LOVE the heel stack which gives my 5' 2 '' height even more of a boost than my other UBs. Comfortable wearing for 10- 12+ hours with no problem. Feels like I 'm walking on clouds. I had close to 800 walking miles o my Finding that those ran a little tight( I 'm typically a women 's 8. 5), I sized up with these. The 9 fit perfect. I 've been using the Boston running shoes for years, and ALWAYS go back to them. I finally found a shoe that works for my foot. Everyone has different foot styling and you have to find the one that works for you. This shoe is great for a wider toe box if you want a shoe that is more natural to the way a foot was meant to be! When you wear shoes that crowd toes together, you 'll constantly have issues, and this prevents that.
