I have had many canopy's in the past and everyone of them has lasted a year or two until breaking. This costs a little more but is very much worth the price. The cover is thick grade canvas that will not tear. The legs are strong and long enough so I do n't hit my head every time I walk under the tent( I 'm 6' 2 ''). the bag and wheels may be the best feature of all. The wheels are wide enough so the bag with the tent wo n't tip over while pulling it and it is made of the same strong canvas as the top of the canopy.

I bought this to replace an old pop- up which had bowed, bent and broke at the middle brace points. I bought this one specifically for the reinforced braces in the middle and it did n't bow in once even during a rain storm in the mountain of Southern CO. The vented top was perfect for the wind, which was n't super strong, but was moving the top quite a bit! Really liked the idea of closing and opening these vents. Even had one side closed& the other open during the rain so it would n't come in us while we were cooking! Also bought this because of parts replacements, even thought I have n't needed it, very nice to know that it's available! The issue we had when putting it up, was a screw in the inside leg at the bottom was n't put in straight and it was catching the outer leg from extending. In step 3 of the instructions, Figure D was impossible to do! Had to have 2 people work at this to get it to click!

My husband spoke to wonderful customer service representative, Mary Helen. Even though we threw the canopy frame away in frustration and had n't taken photos, she asked us to provide our original proof of purchase. Upon doing that, customer service worked with us and offered us a significant discount to purchase a new frame. We did and will be using it for the first time this weekend. [ Overall: I would recommend this grand shade caster system. Would I buy it again? Yes I would but I would also like an option for a extra large version. We shall see how long term this will hold up. I am hopefully and looking forward to using it more. Pros:- very lightweight- provides shade very comfortably for 2 people, chairs and stuff. Add another third person and it becomes a very tight fit. Upon doing that, customer service worked with us and offered us a significant discount to purchase a new frame. We did and will be using it for the first time this weekend. It is very rare in this day and age to do business with a company that takes this much pride in their product and cares about their customers enough to make things right. Thank you!

My previous frame lasted close to 15 years. The new frame lasted 2 games because I chose to use it on the last game broken. Once unpacked, 2 of the supports were broken. I like that the new one is lighter but it is not sturdy. No receipt either. How can I replace the frame under warranty???

I bought this umbrella for myself because I spend a lot of time at the softball fields. I was tired of the handheld umbrella and setting up a canopy by myself is out of the question. I had been eyeing this particular one because of the tripod stand feature. When I first opened it, I was a little intimidated by it because of its size. This thing is huge but it serves its purpose. Took me a minute to figure out how to set it up, but once I did it was smooth sailing. I can admit that it ’s a tad bit too heavy for me, but it ’s well made and not cheap.
