I went to Golf Galaxy about a month ago for a driver fitting and I am so happy this is the club we went with. It is definitely effective in softening my hook- miss allowing me to stay more in play. During the fitting, I also hit the TaylorMade Qi35 and Ping G440 and the Cobra was best in allowing me to consistently hit more towards the sweet- spot. I highly recommend giving it a try before you buy your next driver.

I just turned 64 and bought this club about a month ago after doing a fitting at Dick's House of sport. I tested 3 clubs and the Cobra driver came out on top. The Qi10 Max is a great driver, but it just didn ’ t feel right for me in terms of club weighting and shaft I think. This one just feels better in my hands and swing. I purchased the mini initially because I was having trouble with launch angle and direction. I went to my local shop and got fitted for the Elyte Max Fast. Game changer!!! Callaway knocked it out of the fairway with this one. I now have the mini and the 9 fairway metal as well in addition to the full size head. If you haven ’ t hit these your missing out. BTW I have a swing speed of only 85 and total distance with the 9 metal average 210!! Amazing clubs!!

I went into the store to look at the Ping G430/440 and the TaylorMade Qi35. I spoke with the gentleman working and after talking for a few minutes it was suggested and I agreed, I should have a driver fitting session. Honestly the Callaway wasn ’ t even on my radar at the time I was just getting back into golf and had done minimal research. But the day came and after hitting approximately 90 balls with every major driver manufacturer it came down to the Ping G430 and the Callaway Elyte. Both drivers felt good but at the end of the session the numbers told the story. I was driving farther and tighter with consistency from the Callaway!! I ’ ve hit the range and a couple of rounds since then and I ’ m extremely pleased with the club. Also worth mentioning is the fitting session was fantastic! It was very interesting looking at the performance numbers.

I first bought the G440 Max Driver and I lost significant yardage compared to my Elite Triple Diamond, like 30 yards. Then I bought the G440 LST 10. 5 and I really like it. I hit it within 5 yards of my Triple Diamond but it's much more forgiving. My swing speed is 97- 100 mph so do n't listen to the reviews saying this club is for fast swing speeds. I have a Fujikura Velocore+ Red 50 Stiff shaft playing at 45 1/4.

First impression was great for the Elyte TD driver. Was able to do simulator testing against my Paradym Ai Smoke TD from last year and did see improvements in all categories. Ball speed went up, dispersion was better off mis- hits, look and feel were amazing. Ca n't wait to get it ordered and try on course!

I was just fitted into the TD head. I was very impressed with the performance in spin reduction and forgiveness. It was the clear winner among the 4 brands tested. The TD in this series kinda blew my mind! Coming from the AI Smoke I did n't think they could improve on it... they did. With the speed 1. 3, spin 2. 1 forgiveness 19% and 8 yards on average improvements over the Smoke, I did n't believe it when I heard those numbers. After getting fit for it and seeing the numbers on the LM and the course mirroring those... I do now!!!! Have 10 rounds in the books at home with this beast paired with the Aretera shaft and I can tell you those numbers are indeed there. Not enough rounds to track/avg out all of them, but data shows that the 8 yards improvement is putting it mildly and I 've seen double that improvement on good shots across AVG/PAVG/LONGEST. I 've gotten away with swings and contact with areas of the face I should n't have been playing the next shot, but looking up and seeing magic happen. Oh I can still send the ball into the unfindable areas of the course, but this combo has helped reduce those instances. Just an absolute accurate bomber when swung properly. Even if you 've never had a TD gamer in your bag, this version might surprise you!

I purchased the TSi1 driver with the light shaft( 40g), regular flex. The club was to upgrade from my Cobra offset driver. Due to a tendency to produce a fade or mild slice, I have been using various editions of the Cobra offset driver for years. After getting older( 67) I was getting fed up with losing so much distance off the tee to my playing partners so decided to check out some new products that were appropriate for my age and could be adjusted for my swing. I tested the Callaway Epic, Taylormade Sim 2, and the Titleist TSi1 driver on the range at Heron Glen Golf Course in Flemington NJ. I quickly dismissed the Epic, and concentrated on the other two clubs. It was a close choice to be fair but the Titleist produced the straight, repeatable shot I wanted so I opted for the TSi1 which was set up with the hosel settings set to D3. I played my first round with it yesterday, and I am ecstatic about this club. It produced predictable solid drives all day which were on average at least 20 yards further than I was used to hitting the ball. This resulted in using shorter clubs into greens which as expected resulted in better scores. I LOVE this Titleist driver and would highly recommend it to anyone who is now a senior, has always fought a slice, and is looking for more distance. I will be returning for a fairway wood and some hybrids as soon as I have the money!

I received the Srixon ZX5 LS MKII Driver for Christmas 2023. I have been using it for two months and I love it. The all Titanium head has a great sound and feel. I get a lot of carry from the LS model and when the ball lands it bounds forward with plenty of roll out. The driver is plenty forgiving, too. For the last 5 years I have been using a Cleveland Launcher( MFG date 2003?) and I hit it extremely well. My golf buddy recently bought a Cobra F9 and asked me to try it and to my astonishment I drove the ball farther with his club than I do with my own club SO I started looking for a newer driver. This Srixon looked like it was the closest match to the Cleveland Launcher. I was a little concerned when it arrived because the shaft is stiffer than the Fukishira stiff shaft on my Launcher but, those concerns disappeared the very first drive I used this Srixon on- my golf league started on the back 9 and I nearly drove the 10th hole!! That first drive was right on the sweet spot. Other drives that weren ’ t quite on the sweet spot were still impressive. Tee the ball high( I use marked blue tees) and you won ’ t be disappointed.

This thing is a high launching bomber. I tried the Elyte triple diamond and I just wasn ’ t quite good enough to play it consistently. The Elyte TD Max launches considerably higher and wants to go straight with a baby fade at the end. I tried multiple drivers from the big four this year and this one gives me the best overall performance. I love the sound this thing makes!

Best driver that I ’ ve owned hands down! I was a Taylormade loyalist for years going all the way back to the bubble shaft LOL. Switched to the Callaway AI Smoke Triple Diamond Max last year. It was a great club, but the Elyte version is simply better. My SS is only about 97 or 98 right now. I ’ m hitting this thing consistently over 260 on a good strike with 149 mph ball speed. I switched from the MMT 55g reg flex to the Tensei AV series blue 55g stiff flex. I ’ m even getting 250+ out of off center strikes( launch monitor validated). I ’ m glad that I took advantage of the 50% trade in bonus. Consistent forgiveness, straight,& long. What more could you ask for?

The elyte*** max driver has definitely flew under the radar unlike last year's*** max but the smoke was the first edition so of course there was more attention. The elyte*** max is a monster on toe strikes, producing long playable shots while overall being super forgiving, easy to hit straight and does not sit open. Spin and launch numbers are fantastic and do exactly what is claimed. If you would put the core model, the X and triple diamond together you come out with this beast. Hopefully more people give this a try, just a beauty to look down on at address. This is a really good driver from Callaway!

I just got this less than a week ago and here are my observations. I 'm replacing a standard Elyte 10. 5 driver. I love the way this feels. I 'm getting more draw shots than with Elyte. I was around 65% fairway and equal amounts both left and right.( do n't judge- lol) With the TD Max, I 've managed around 60% fairway and 33% going left of fairway. Yes, this is from fewer shots versus over 500 with the standard Elyte, but I certainly saw some bias left. I would expect that. What was also quickly apparent was that I picked up 10 yards on average with the TD Max over the Elyte. The TD Max is forgiving enough and the best hits are being rewarded with solid distance gains. I look forward to continuing the journey with the TD Max and finding out what other gains I 'll see.

Titleist yet again exceeds on this driver. I 'm a 15. 4 HCP with a driver swing speed avg of 85. This felt amazing off the face. The performance I received was absolutely awesome! I could work my typical shot which is a fade and I could tell there was a difference from my old driver. The stock shaft is pretty good but I have AV orange R Shaft and it's an amazing pairing. I would definitely recommend this driver to someone who does have a driver swing speed below 90mph
