At age 76 I was fitted for the Elyte 12 degree driver set at 11 degrees neutral. The driver performed better than expected at the course in distance and accuracy. I previously hit lower trajectories with a fade and roll out. First time using it on the course I hit 254 yards with a very slight draw and a center cut fairway. Throughout that round and subsequent rounds the driver continues to exceed my expectations in distance, accuracy, solid feel and I can control the trajectory in windy conditions. With 4 rounds under my belt I upped my average to 13 out of 14 fairways hit and gained almost 15- 20 yards distance.

For the last 5 years I have been using a Cleveland Launcher( MFG date 2003?) and I hit it extremely well. My golf buddy recently bought a Cobra F9 and asked me to try it and to my astonishment I drove the ball farther with his club than I do with my own club SO I started looking for a newer driver. This Srixon looked like it was the closest match to the Cleveland Launcher. I was a little concerned when it arrived because the shaft is stiffer than the Fukishira stiff shaft on my Launcher but, those concerns disappeared the very first drive I used this Srixon on- my golf league started on the back 9 and I nearly drove the 10th hole!! Was fitted into this club in my first ever fitting, and could n't be more pleased. I played a lot as a kid, and have been getting back into the game now in my mid- 30s. I purchased the Strata set in December to get back into things, but was slicing my driver to kingdom come; good distance but wildly inconsistent off the tee. The fitting put me into the X, for forgiveness; 9○ loft, turned down to 8○; hosel set to draw bias; and weight also set to draw. Shaft is the MC Tensei 1K Black 65 XStiff. Was immediately pleased at the range leading up to our weekly round. My pleasure grew when I played my first round with it. More distance, tighter dispersion-- greatly improved consistency. For the first time since getting back into the game that I played the whole round with the same ball! The ONLY problem( not really a problem)... it was consistently putting me in the 30- 70 yd range on too many holes and I 'm a bit out of practice with my wedge game!

Easy to hit a bleeding fade as well as a draw without making cog setup changes. Spin is perfect( 1800- 2200 rpm depending on shot type). The look of the top line is perfect. I ’ ve never been consistent with a driver. I average about 250 off the tee with my 3 wood and only about 270 with my driver and only hit about half the fairways. Decided to just buy the elite mini driver 11. 5*. Wow. After 9 holes on Thursday night league and hitting every fairway averaging 265 I couldn ’ t be happier. Added 1 degree of loft. I feel like I can be more aggressive and swing down on the ball like a fairway wood. I like the larger head compared to the other new mini drivers and how much smaller it is than a regular driver. The main thing I like most is the shorter shaft. Give it a chance and it might make you replace your driver like I did.

They always say, buy lessons, do n't buy new clubs. But upgrading from an RBZ driver from the early 2010's, this Qi35 is the easiest club in my bag to hit. Tried the G440 Max and I was hitting every shot right. Hit 5 shots with the SFT and all were long on the center line. Bought the 10. 5 with Chrome 2. 0 regular shaft. I 'm 65 with a recent hip replacement. This club is a game changer. Minimal dispersion even on less than perfect strikes. Very straight.

I played the G430 Max for about a year or more and switched to the G430 SFT. I found it more forgiving. I turned around and bought the 440 Max because it had a draw setting not present in the G430 Max. I returned it after a couple of weeks and exchanged it for the G 440 SFT. I have been extremely pleased. Although I play a draw and do n't slice too often, I still like to eliminate the potential. I do n't necessarily need to or want to `` work '' the ball and if I know my drives are going to go straight, slight draw or at worse weak fade, that works for me. The G 430 Max and G 440 Max definitely allowed the occasional slice.

I recently got the Ping G440 LST driver 9* with a Ventus TR black 6X shaft. My swing speed is around 115 and I play to about a 5 handicap for reference. I had been gaming the Callaway AI Smoke TD with same shaft. I had always enjoyed Ping woods in the past but had strayed away from them in the past 3- 4 years. I am so happy I went back. The feel of this driver is great. For a “ low spin ” head, it is very forgiving. Simply as I can say it, it is easier to hit. If you ’ ve liked Ping before or are considering it now, this driver is legit. I have the 4 wood ordered also and I am looking forward to hitting it.

I have played golf 3 times since buying this driver. My previous model was probably 9 years old and was a Cobra as well. I am stunned by how forgiving this driver is. I have not sliced badly yet! Also, when hitting off the heel or low still having very good results. The distance is superb as well. I am seeing much longer distances. Again, this is compared to a 9 year old driver, but I could not be more happy. Also, the price was outstanding.$ 299. I hit it great at the demo but not so much after:-) I saw this driver on sale because it was last years model and I have played Cobra before so I bought it after reading some reviews. This thing is amazing! I read reviews that said it was n't forgiving, boy are they wrong. I am a 21 handicap and I have had a few mishits and the ball still flies straight and long. As an aging golfer 70 I have been struggling to maintain my 18 handicap, especially on white tees. Have just upgraded my old G20 to the 425 SFT with a senior shaft. Took it out in a medal today and seriously did not miss a fairway. The course is set up for the open qualifier so avoiding rough is a must. Added at least 25 yards to every drive and ended up 7 under my handicap. Absolutely top notch driver. Now to upgrade 3, 5, wood and hybrid.

For the last number of years, I have had a love- hate relationship with drivers. After a few range sessions and rounds played with the G425 SFT, I can unequivocally say this is the best driver I have ever hit. Paired with the Tour Chrome 2. 0 65 shaft, I have never hit the ball straighter, my miss hits are still in play, and I have gained 12- 15 yds. vs my old driver. However, all those positives pale in comparison to the boost in confidence I received from this club. If you 're a golfer who's struggled with driver, I highly recommend the G425 SFT.
