I went to Golf Galaxy about a month ago for a driver fitting and I am so happy this is the club we went with. It is definitely effective in softening my hook- miss allowing me to stay more in play. During the fitting, I also hit the TaylorMade Qi35 and Ping G440 and the Cobra was best in allowing me to consistently hit more towards the sweet- spot. Incredibly good feeling at contact, actually does what Wilson claims it does. Which is rare in my experience, typically companies bolster their advertising and ca n't really back it up. I play tennis, and my experience with Wilson Clash tennis racquets( and related models that benefitted from the breakthrough technology) is what drew me to Wilson Golf clubs when I recently picked up golf. I have used a TaylorMade burner for the past 12+ years or so and was always happy with it. My son- in- laws father gave me the club as a gift. It changed my game then. I had been hearing some about the Qi4D I went to Dick's Sporting Goods in Brownsville, Tx. and used their simulator room to try out the Driver. It was a great experience and I wound up buying the Qi4D driver, 3, 5, 7,& 9 fairways and now am awaiting the arrival of the Qi4D 11 fairway. Since getting these clubs I have almost stopped using my Mizuno irons.

I have always been a huge Wilson fan, but this driver is next level! It is, by far, the best driver I have hit. It is n't magical, you still need to hit the shot, but it is so forgiving and it crushes the ball. I have only hit it at the range, but the distance was so good, they asked me to stop! I have yet to take it out on the course, but I am excited to do so. If I can transfer the length and the accuracy to the course, it will be a true game changer. This is one of the best deals in golf. If you are considering it, do it. The club does not disappoint. I am hitting the 9 degree in a stiff shaft.

[ I had 2 rounds on a simulator with this so far. On average I 'm hitting overall 10 yards farther then my old driver. Still getting use to this Driver my common miss now is a push straight right, It is n't slicing just a straight right push that will still go 260 yards just 40 yards offline. I 'm not the one that continually hits center my miss on the face is towards heal and I ca n't believe the ball is still traveling 240 to 250 when the same miss with my old driver will go about 220.

Switched out my PXG 0311 Black Ops 10. 5, and I ’ m getting a little more carry distance as well as swing speed. Regripped with midsize c2p wraps, and it feels amazing. I changed the shaft to a Ventus Red 60R after purchasing. Distance is great, ball speed, forgiveness and accuracy are amazing. I was still battling too much of a fade so I changed the heel weights from 9g to 13g and now it's very straight with consistent distance and spin. I think the `` max '' versions of various drivers( including the QI4D) are becoming obsolete because these core models are so forgiving and offer more distance and accuracy. Love this driver- took some tinkering but it's my new gamer.

I went to a fitting after a good season with the Qi35 but my spin, launch and distance numbers weren ’ t getting better as other parts of my game improved. FF and after seeing some numbers by Roger Steel I asked the fitter about the Quantum trip Diamond. Between that head and new Ventus black shaft,- 1000 Rpm, faster club and ball speed, 10/15 yards further carry. The dispersion was a little wide and I need to work on the contact, I was a tad heely. I might benefit from the Max but I actually liked the slightly smaller head and the miss hits were still in the rough, so it still feels forgiving. When it arrives it ’s going straight to the course.

I purchased the regular Quantum Max AND the TD Max basically a week apart. I returned the Quantum Max immediately after hitting the TD Max. I 'm a 10 handicap with a 110 mph swing speed. The ball just jumps off the face on well struck shots. Even mishits are long and stay in the fairway. I love this driver. Previous driver was a Titleist D2.

I am a senior golfer and was previously gaming the Callaway Paradym X 12. 5 driver--- no complaints. However, I like to try new tech and being a loyal Callaway player I decided to try the newer Ai Smoke Fast 10. 5 driver with a lighter shaft- same flex as previous one. First drive off the tee was an absolute beauty. I 'm now almost always in the fairway as the forgiveness is quite remarkable. With a slightly higher ball flight profile I am getting great distance for my moderate swing speed-( 80- 90mph). I love this driver and shaft! Callaway hit a home run with this one.

Titleist yet again exceeds on this driver. I 'm a 15. 4 HCP with a driver swing speed avg of 85. This felt amazing off the face. The performance I received was absolutely awesome! I could work my typical shot which is a fade and I could tell there was a difference from my old driver. The stock shaft is pretty good but I have AV orange R Shaft and it's an amazing pairing. I would definitely recommend this driver to someone who does have a driver swing speed below 90mph

The feel is great with the driver and I love the stock Silver Frost Shaft. It feels very smooth and very controlled throughout the swing. After a couple of rounds in and I am still getting used to it but really so far so good. Despite my early season hook and nursing a sprained back the distance with this has been right on par with my best drives last year. Once I get the kinks out of my back I expect to see some gains over last years averages. If I was going to improve on anything it would be the sound. I think it may be the carbon backed face but it has kind of dull thud and hollow sound to my ear. I am going to tinker with the front weight a bit to see if that changes and to help curb that hook a bit. All in all though I think this is going to be a great stick for me once I have everything dialed in! Update: I ordered the driver at 44. 5 '' and with the CPX midsize grip. As part of the build the weights were used to compensate for this apparently. So instead of a 9g red weight in back I have a 15g one and the front weight is 8g instead of the stock 2g. I decided to go even heavier and changed out the front weight to a 13g and changed the black 1g weight which I have placed in the draw position to a 4g weight. Adding the additional weight makes the driver feel even more solid to me and the sound has become far less hollow sounding and is more a solid thud with a slight ping now. Super impressed with the distance and dispersion I am getting with it. Overall this is a very easy driver to recommend anyone to try. Also, do n't get hooked in by the TD versions always being better for everyone myth. The Quantum Max core was the far better selection for me.
