I have played golf 3 times since buying this driver. My previous model was probably 9 years old and was a Cobra as well. I am stunned by how forgiving this driver is. I have not sliced badly yet! Also, when hitting off the heel or low still having very good results. The distance is superb as well. I am seeing much longer distances. Again, this is compared to a 9 year old driver, but I could not be more happy. Also, the price was outstanding.$ 299. When I compared it with the new models of the major brands as well as Cobra's newest which all ran$ 200 more I saw no difference

I hit it great at the demo but not so much after:-) I saw this driver on sale because it was last years model and I have played Cobra before so I bought it after reading some reviews. This thing is amazing! I read reviews that said it was n't forgiving, boy are they wrong. I am a 21 handicap and I have had a few mishits and the ball still flies straight and long. I am also impressed with the Lin Q shaft it is easy to swing and it really stable. On top of that it looks awesome and sets up nice at address. If you looking for a great driver look no further.

I 've only had the driver for a couple of weeks and I 'm still dialing it in. I had been playing with a 11- year- old TaylorMade driver and thought it was time for an upgrade. There might be a little bit extra distance on the new driver, but it is hard to say because I have n't played with it enough to get everything set the way I would like. On my first trip to a driving range and prior to making adjustments to weights I had an unusual for me hook. Once I got the weights properly placed, I was able to get that straightened back out. Tried a bunch of different drivers a couple months ago and I hit the TSR4 the best by far which was surprising because it ’s supposed to be the least forgiving of the Titleist drivers. It ’s been longer and more accurate than my TSI2. On average it ’s about 15 yards longer due to lower spin and my longest drives are about 25- 30 yards farther than my longest drives with the TSI2.

Bought this for my daughter for her second season of high school golf. Finally broke down and got her driver that didn ’ t come with a premade ladies set now that she is scoring more consistent low rounds. After three time on the course, she has already mastered this club. Added at least 25 yards to her drive and her misses are less dramatic as this club is very forgiving whether hitting a fade or a draw. For the last 5 years I have been using a Cleveland Launcher( MFG date 2003?) and I hit it extremely well. My golf buddy recently bought a Cobra F9 and asked me to try it and to my astonishment I drove the ball farther with his club than I do with my own club SO I started looking for a newer driver. This Srixon looked like it was the closest match to the Cleveland Launcher. I was a little concerned when it arrived because the shaft is stiffer than the Fukishira stiff shaft on my Launcher but, those concerns disappeared the very first drive I used this Srixon on- my golf league started on the back 9 and I nearly drove the 10th hole!! I 've been fighting a slice for several years now playing my Callaway Rogue ST Max driver. After reading about the Mizuno driver I tried it out and it was love at first swing. On the course it was an immediate change and I started hitting every fairway, something I have n't done in several years.

I really enjoyed the STZ- 230, but decided to give the Max a try and it is really a step up in terms of distance, forgiveness and dispersion. I was blown away from my first strike with this driver. Mizuno irons are always a great choice, but more people should give this Driver a shot and you will not be disappointed. It is on par with the major OEMs, if not a tick better IMO. Great sound and feel as well.

I bought this driver about a month ago to replace an old TM R1. Drives are definitely more consistent, resulting in more fairways hit. Distance is pretty consistent with all of the latest generation drivers I tested. Definitely a value at current prices.
