I got fitted for this after playing G425. I originally got fit for a 50g stiff red Denali, cut down a half inch with a 9 degree head. But when I got it felt different than fitting, too stiff, hard to launch. Returned and ordered a Calloway quantum with red denali, after after waiting just under 7 weeks called Callloway and found out it would be another 5 weeks at least, I could n't take it, went back and my guy at Dick's was very understanding and said that was unacceptable, he knows I play everyday. Went back to G440 but this time I used my own specs, 60g regular flex, 10. 5 head. The 60g is slightly stiffer than 50g regular like an R+, and the head weight went from D3 to D4 which it states on Ping website, and kept standard length which for that shaft is 45. 5. I love it, can launch at will but still keep it down if I want or need to and the head weight gives me a much better feel. I 've been playing a cut down driver for 10 years for control, head always felt light. This feels natural and great and the length is n't a problem either, finding strike as well or better than cut down, with extra length. Saw a great youtube video on this subject where the guy gripped down an inch then 2 inches then cut an inch and cut 2 inches, very eye opening. Main points were his control did n't get any better as it got shorter and the feel changed for the worse. And he pointed out you 're going against the manufactures design when you cut it. Not saying you should n't cut down but not as straight forward as I thought. Bottom line really like this club and gained some distance not because of new club head or engineering, although I think the forgiveness is higher, but from shaft length. The 60g shaft is really stable which if I am losing speed from extra weight is made up for with stability and better strike.

I recently purchased a xxio 13 driver with a stiff shaft. I hit it great at the demo but not so much after:-) I saw this driver on sale because it was last years model and I have played Cobra before so I bought it after reading some reviews. This thing is amazing! I read reviews that said it was n't forgiving, boy are they wrong. I am a 21 handicap and I have had a few mishits and the ball still flies straight and long. I am also impressed with the Lin Q shaft it is easy to swing and it really stable. On top of that it looks awesome and sets up nice at address. If you looking for a great driver look no further.

I upgraded to the QI35 Max from my Costco Callaway Edge and it was well worth it. The Max is much more forgiving, with off center hits going further and having less gear effect. On center strikes seem to be further too. I find the Max much easier to turn the face which has helped eliminate my occasional hard fade/slice. I 'm hitting more fairway than ever!

My wife bought me the new Qi35 Standard driver, but I went in to Golf Galaxy to hit all 3 models to see which fit my game the best. They set me up with the same shaft in each of the drivers and let me hit into the launch monitors until I had made my decision. After reviewing all 3 with numerous hits, it was clear the LS was the best fitting club for my swing. I really like the carbon fiber top and the shape of this clubhead. I went to Golf Galaxy about a month ago for a driver fitting and I am so happy this is the club we went with. It is definitely effective in softening my hook- miss allowing me to stay more in play. During the fitting, I also hit the TaylorMade Qi35 and Ping G440 and the Cobra was best in allowing me to consistently hit more towards the sweet- spot. I first bought the G440 Max Driver and I lost significant yardage compared to my Elite Triple Diamond, like 30 yards. Then I bought the G440 LST 10. 5 and I really like it. I hit it within 5 yards of my Triple Diamond but it's much more forgiving. My swing speed is 97- 100 mph so do n't listen to the reviews saying this club is for fast swing speeds. I have a Fujikura Velocore+ Red 50 Stiff shaft playing at 45 1/4.

I have only played one round since I purchased on February 1st. Replaced a Ping G400 LST driver. First impression was very good as ball seemed to jump off the face. I 'm 76 years old and swing speed is not as good as when I was younger, however, I still swing at 90+ mph and had no trouble getting ball in the air. My dispersion was middle left with slight draw. Will need more rounds to give a more accurate review.

I was always a Taylormade fan but decided to give this driver a shot. After only a few rounds I am hitting the ball straighter and longer. I liked my QI4D LS but for my swing I needed something a little more forgiving. With the GT2 I still have a lower spin head with the added forgiveness I needed. I would highly recommend. Also since the new GTS2 hit the market, the price of the GT2 was right in my budget.

I 've only had the driver for a couple of weeks and I 'm still dialing it in. I had been playing with a 11- year- old TaylorMade driver and thought it was time for an upgrade. There might be a little bit extra distance on the new driver, but it is hard to say because I have n't played with it enough to get everything set the way I would like. On my first trip to a driving range and prior to making adjustments to weights I had an unusual for me hook. Once I got the weights properly placed, I was able to get that straightened back out. The Aretera shaft upgrade was a no- brainer based on performance and feel. Overall, I was super impressed and now a new member of the Callaway Driver family.

The TD in this series kinda blew my mind! Coming from the AI Smoke I did n't think they could improve on it... they did. With the speed 1. 3, spin 2. 1 forgiveness 19% and 8 yards on average improvements over the Smoke, I did n't believe it when I heard those numbers. After getting fit for it and seeing the numbers on the LM and the course mirroring those... I do now!!!! Have 10 rounds in the books at home with this beast paired with the Aretera shaft and I can tell you those numbers are indeed there. Not enough rounds to track/avg out all of them, but data shows that the 8 yards improvement is putting it mildly and I 've seen double that improvement on good shots across AVG/PAVG/LONGEST. I 've gotten away with swings and contact with areas of the face I should n't have been playing the next shot, but looking up and seeing magic happen. Oh I can still send the ball into the unfindable areas of the course, but this combo has helped reduce those instances. Just an absolute accurate bomber when swung properly. Even if you 've never had a TD gamer in your bag, this version might surprise you!

Have played a few rounds with the TSR2 now, and have been extremely happy after switching from the G425 Max. Dispersion has been fantastic, and it ’s definitely longer off the tee. I would recommend going through a fitting to find the right head and shaft for you. Overall I would definitely recommend this club.

This is hands down the best driver I have ever hit. When I hit it on the screws( old guy talk) it goes for miles. Even off center hits, hi- toe in particular, still gets way out there. My accuracy has improved about 50% and distance about 30 yards average. This is coming from someone who has seen distances from my irons deterior noticeably over the last year or so.

If you are not wanting to pm pay top dollar for golf equipment then giving Demo equipment a serious look. Most equipment is like new after only a small amount of use but still effective.
