I ’ m a 5 ’ 10 ”, 170lbs, 54 year old male with a marathon PR of 3: 15 and have been running marathons for 14 years. Ran my 20th marathon two weeks ago and nearly set a new PR! I bought the Metaspeed Sky a couple months out from my race and put roughly 40 miles on the shoes at race pace during training. Was really skeptical at first because the soles r so plush, but running, they r very responsive. Super light and almost feel unstable standing in them. However, running for me, at 7- 7: 30 min/mile pace, they were fantastic. After setting a PR 7 years ago, I nearly PR ’ d again with these shoes. I was less than 30 seconds shy. Fit for me was good. Snug in the heel and mid foot, just enough room in the toes. Looking forward to racing in these again.

I got these shoes in the neptune colorway and get lots of compliments when I wear them. They fit true to asics sizing. They are very comfortable to walk around in, not as good as real sneakers, but better than a lot of lifestyle ones. Like all asics, there's no arch support. The insole is n't removable, but I find a thin black superfeet support fits just fine without crowding. Adding the arch support on all my asics helps make them a lot easier on my feet.

I also bought a pair of the GEL- CONTEND 9 in wide and swapped back and forth from one day to the other. Both are very comfortable shoes and breath well which is important in the muggy Florida heat. The excite is a little more cushiony/bouncy so it might just be a matter of personal preference.

Surprisingly good running shoe. I ’ ve seen the Noosa Tri around for many years, always wild colors and patterns, always eye catching. I was always happy with whatever I was running in at the time and always thought…maybe next time. Well, next time finally came and I decided to give the Noosa Tri 16 a shot. Let ’s start with the fit…they ’ re a little on the snug side, I wear an 11 in everything and usually that works out just fine. The Noosa 16 fit more like a 10& 3/4 than an 11. Nonetheless they ’ ve become my brick workout shoes with no socks and I ’ m really happy with them in that capacity. These shoes excel at every distance I ’ ve tried them at from a short speed workout to a 13- 14mi easy pace day. They feel great for my midfoot strike, roll off the toe really nicely and the foam is amazingly smooth, soft, bouncy and comfortable. The upper breathes well and like I mentioned, 80% of my miles in these are barefoot and the liner of the shoe is soft, smooth and very comfortable.

I actually had a new pair of Gel Kayano 31's in a box when I heard the 32's were coming out. So I waited for them to arrive in stores and tried them out. They were more comfortable and better fitting. The 2mm increased height in the forefoot really makes a difference. There was too much roll off in the 31's. The 32's are a lot more natural. I like the revised tongue, and improvements in the heel also. I think it says a lot that asics took a really good shoe and cared enough to perfect it. I 'm extremely happy with the 32's. Love the `` Winter Sea/Midnight '' color. Now I 'm waiting and hoping for a new graphite grey colorway.

These court shoes run narrow, I do not have narrow feet. I needed them for a tournament and had no time to exchange for wide, so I decided to wear them anyway and deal with them being tighter than optimal. They were comfortable anyway. I chose thin socks and have worn them to play pickle ball twice without a problem. I love how the look too. If I were to order them again, I would probably order the wide so I could wear my normal socks, but I think once they are really broken in, they will be fine.

I do still play tennis and I feel these are the best shoes for the game. I usually recommend these shoes, when asked for recommendations for the best tennis court shoe. In a world of brands chasing to be like the next HOKA or medial posting is a dirty word, the GT 4000 stands a defiant example of classic support for my flat feet and the cushion is great for my plantar Fasciitis. I also appreciate that the shoe has a higher more old school heel drop for my Achilles tendinitis. Most shoes these days by other brands are having the posting removed or the heel drop lowered and those tend to hurt my arches, heels, knees and shins where the GT 4000 does not and it offers me relief. It fits well enough to accommodate my inserts as well. My only wish is that they make the toe box just a “ hint ” wider. Other than that this is the perfect shoe for me…. leave it alone and do not update it. Just keep coming out with new colors in wide please! Would love a GREY midsole option in wide.

Great every day running shoe. Not built for racing but absolute cruiser that will take care of your legs. The dual layer foam setup is soft but stable while being very smooth. Not a lot of bounce but a lot of roll with a perfectly placed rocker. I believe the magic is in the rocker position and grade combined with the midsole setup. I was consumed with the Nova and Superblast so I didn ’ t try the first version. Probably a good thing. I ’ m surprised by just how much I like this shoe. I have 2 other regular fit models of ASICS that are very comfortable however, after approx 4 miles walking or half a day wearing them I want to take them off because my toes and feet overall feel pressure because of the narrower toe box. I ordered these for my 12yo daughter who can not keep anything clean so I went with the dark color. She loves them. Her foot seems to change sizes every couple of months too so getting a good quality shoe at a great price helps.

The wide fit Gel- Venture 8 seems to have been designed for my feet. It's a great fit and has solid traction with a thick tread that does n't make every rock or stick I step on feel like I 'm barefoot. I have 4 pairs in 4 different color combinations. They are the perfect balance between being well constructed, durable, supporting my foot and ankle for good stability and still being lightweight and flexible enough that I feel light on my feet. These are perfect for trail running but also just a great daily wear tennis shoe that wo n't fall apart after a couple months of wearing them.

Great shoes for most of the runners. It is comfortable over long runs too. I tried it on with 6 and 7 miles. I am planning to do half marathon soon. May not be ideal for speed runners due to its high cushion, as per online reviews( but I am not a speed runner)
