** Review of North Face Surge Women's Backpack** I recently purchased the North Face Surge Women's Backpack, and I could n't be more pleased with my choice. The quality of this backpack is outstanding; it feels durable and well- constructed, ensuring it will stand up to daily wear and tear. The backpack is exactly as advertised, with a sleek design that is both stylish and functional. I appreciate how lightweight it is, making it easy to carry for extended periods without any discomfort. One of the standout features is its spaciousness. It fits my laptop, water bottles, and folders effortlessly, allowing me to stay organized and prepared for any situation. Overall, the North Face Surge Women's Backpack combines quality, functionality, and comfort in a way that truly meets my needs. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and stylish backpack for everyday use.

As a smaller sized gal, I 've struggled with daypacks feeling too big and bulky. The 18L was my goldilocks and is such a great size for a casual hike or wandering around town! There are not a lot of pockets, but I actually prefer a simple pack. My favorite part of the pack is the chest and hip straps that make the bag easily adjustable.
5
AllisonL
This pack is the perfect trail companion! I 've gotten to take it out both XC skiing and on some winter hikes and it's the perfect size for an extra layer, snacks, first aid kit, and any other gear you might need on the trail. I love the magnet strip on the water bladder that nicely holds the bladder straw in space when not using it, and easy to drink out of while on the trail. The pockets are well thought out and easily accessible. I do wish the side water bottle pockets were a little larger to fit my nalgene, but definitely not a dealbreaker since it has the integrated bladder.

I have this as a backpack and I love it. I am still in high school and I honestly could n't want a better bag. In my opinion it is a little small for all the stuff I had but not too bad. I love the look of it, the skinny cute bag is so nice and i love the light blue on gray. The side pockets are a bit small for all water bottles but most of the time i do n't have a hard time pushing my bottles in. The wire on the side though makes it hard sometimes but u just have to make sure you press down and not out.

As an ultralight Backpacker, I leave my honest review here. First, I have to say that I was excited when I got this backpack; the fabrics and the implementation are outstanding excellent job Black Diamond. The fast backpack idea with those extra shoulder straps makes this backpack ideal. Not only is this one waterproof or almost, but it is merely one of the best backpacks I ever owned. Believe it or not, I have tried several UL backpacks in my career. The only downside I see is that the shoulder pocket with the zipper is too tiny to hold a standard- sized cell phone comfortably. If I had a bigger one, I could guarantee it would never fit inside.
4
GR
I have n't used this pack but it looks great, with excellent materials, pockets and overall construction. It also seems to tick most boxes for ultra runners who may be doing multi- day events requiring a lot of mandatory gear. Some runners may question the design choice of having only one side of the vest strap capable of carrying a 500ml soft flask. Perhaps this is the preferred option for fastpacking but having capacity for two soft flasks in addition to two zippered pockets on either side like the BD Distance 15 pack would be ideal, at least for ultra runners.

I was in the market for a gym bag, but wanted something other than those trendy cotapaxi bags everyone seems to carry around. It was by a fluke that I came across the Zealot series, which makes sense considering it's a new design. After watching the product video, I was convinced to get this bag. I definitely am a fan of the separate compartment for shoes with even enough room to place my chalk bag. Definitely saves the hassle of dusting off items you do n't want chalk on such as a tablet or food. The bag is sleek in its design, making it easy for edc. Now to test its limits for a full day with sport climbing.

The Large size Betalight45 fits me very well. The shoulder straps are comfortable with a loaded pack and the hip belt sits properly to take some weight. [ We just got hit pretty much back- to- back by Helene and Milton, and this made a great go- bag to evacuate from the hurricanes! It ’s very well built and easy to carry, there ’s plenty of room for evacuation essentials, and all of my stuff stayed dry! All sorts of camping and survival supplies are very popular here in hurricane country — even though I don ’ t know of a single person who actually voluntarily goes camping around here! The only thing I wish I could change about the bag is the color! I really wanted a hot pink, or at least a bright neon orange or yellow! Still, the red and yellow is considerably more visible than the basic black. I received the correct item, in good condition, in a decent amount of time. The packaging was frankly ridiculous, though! It ’s very flat and took up minimal room, even without rolling it up – so there was no reason to send it in a massive cardboard box the size of a golf bag, for goodness sakes!
5
Curt C.
[ I ’ ve taken it on one back country trip and a few other over nighters, and have found the pack to be great. I like the white interior for finding gear and the quality of the bag seems durable overall. The straps themselves aren ’ t the most comfortable when your bag gets heavier but for my portages I ’ m never wearing the pack for much more than an hour between paddles. I would personally prefer a bit of extra bulk and weight if that was the compromise to have a slightly more padded shoulder.
5

[ As an avid canoeist I ’ m always looking for tough but lightweight gear for canoe tripping. Over the last few years my gear closet has transitioned almost entirely to Sea to Summit gear. Telos tent, Spark 3 sleeping bag, collapsible pots, big river dry backpack, stuff sacks and compression bags and I have been completely satisfied with each and every item. Great job Sea to Summit!

Black Diamond's Speed Packs provide everything I need and appreciate in a trad pack without any unnecessary fluff 'n' stuff added. [ My Atmos AG 65 was a replacent for my 10 year old Atmos backpack. After 10 years the old pack started `` delaminating '', I guess it is called, when the coating inside starts to peel. I was happily surprised when Osprey replaced the pack under their all mighty guarantee. I really liked my old Atmos for the ventilation on the back and for the pockets. I am finding I like the Atmos AG even more. It fits me better and carries very well for me. It is not nearly as light as my Kakwa, but the convenience of the pockets, the airflow for my back, and just the general feel of the weighted pack will keep it relevant and useful for many years to come. I expect this pack will not spend much time hanging in the closet.
5
Jason B.

I have enjoyed using this pack for a couple proper backpacking trips and used it for city traveling. Plenty of storage, loads of adjustments for your comfort, nice design and materials and finally multiple ways to load the pack make this a great choice.

My girlfriend ordered the extended fit for me not because I 'm morbidly obese but because my shoulders are 3x the size of the normal person. I have a bodybuilder frame and she decided to give it a go. Just wow fits my shoulders perfectly with a lot of extra room if I decide to go on a McDonald's and deep fried Twinkie diet. I always get the heaviest bag because my girlfriend ca n't handle more than 25lbs. My bag was around 60lbs on a 3 day hike. Comfort all day and room to spare!

Great overall ride and quality. Bought for the Kalalau trail hike in Kuaui, held everything we needed and has great organization. The straps and suspension system worked well and it distributed the weight evenly. This is a great pack for entry level backpackers or more advanced backpackers, big enough to carry all comfort items you would want for a 2- 3 day trip. Hip pads were big enough for cell phones and other items which was handy.

This backpack has a ton of extras on it and secures and cinches tight. The best part is that it can be customized for your body type and does not wear on you even when hiking over 10 miles a day through rough terrain.

The Kalmia offered great space/ volume per weight, and fit me so well! The adjustable backplate offered needed personalization for fit, and the padding protected me from hotspots without being bulky. The rotating shoulder straps made a difference; I could feel the pack moving with me, instead of against me. The Kalmia 50 is my new go to pack! While this pack offers some personalization, it is n't the pack for everyone. I highly recommend trying the pack on before purchasing, and walking around a bit with some weight added to see how she rides. Overall: well made, great weight to capacity ratio, helpful personalization through various adjustment and tension points, moves with the hiker.

[ The Deuter Aircontact Ultra is an awesome pack! High quality, durable, and the perfect size for me. I ’ ve been wanting a hiking pack for awhile, and I ’ m so glad I held out for this one. The color is beautiful, too. It holds everything I need for a hike and is very comfortable and well structured. Definitely recommend!

[ I rarely leave reviews on products, but I have to say that this was a really good product. I was in the marker something like this, as I was looking to change it up a bit from the normal product I use and this was perfect. I would certainly recommend it!

[ I wasted no time using this pack on my recent hikes. It ’s super lightweight, easy to adjust, extremely roomy, comfortable to wear and the color is a unique beautiful orange/( sienna/paprika). The lumbar pad was highly effective in redistributing weight. Not major but my only gripe is that the air contact back system didn ’ t do the best job at minimizing sweat and dampness. I realize it ’s been a very hot& humid summer so I look forward to testing out that feature in cooler weather conditions during an upcoming fall hike. Happy adventures all!

[ I love this hiking backpack. It looks amazing, the color is perfection. It's extremely comfortable to wear and distributes weight well. The material is very comfortable as well. It seems to be made of high quality with great stitching and materials. This would be perfect for anyone needing something like this for hiking. Look no further! Really!

[ I live in Colorado and my wife and I spend a lot of time in the backcountry. My wife and I have used several bags and this is now my wife ’s favorite for backpack camping. I took this bag out for three days and found even though it says it ’s made for a woman, I found it very comfortable and had no problems with it. The first thing I noticed is it ’s lightweight for the size. The ripstock fabric has held up very well and I haven ’ t had any tears or pulls. It ’s light but very durable. My wife said she thought it was incredibly comfortable for her. The lumber support and and the piece that goes around your waist is nice light support. We both loved the back system as it is GREAT if you sweat a lot. It had very good ventilation and helps keep you cool with the Air Spacer mesh. This bag has gear loops I attached my GPS too on the front and my wife and I both loved the mesh pockets on the hip. The pockets are easy to access and secure. Overall my wife and I both agree this is a fantastic, quality bag that is great for the backcountry. You get a lightweight bag with great features to make your long treks more enjoyable.

[ Bought this as a 'first' pack for a child and it has worked great! It has everything you need while the adjustable frame is great to grow with them! Even used it as a day pack for a 6 mile round tripper to a waterfall during our weekend trip. Sturdy construction a carries weight well! Would be 5 stars but I think they could make some of the straps removable... there are quite a few that just get in the way most of the time.
