It's a weight. Ca n't really screw it up unless you smash the bat off the backstop. My 11yr old put it on his bat, and now I 'm worried I 'll have to get a lawyer to prove he is n't on PEDs. Well…I have played almost every level of baseball—lots of gimmicky stuff out there. Not this thing though—it just works. Period. My warmups in on deck circle are more productive and I am def gaining swing speed and exit velo on balls. My whole team ditched donuts etc and we use just this now. Everyone wants to swing it. This weight stays on very well. My only knock on it is how difficult it is to get on certain bats because of the knobs on certain bats. I typically leave it on just one bat, because it is to cumbersome to be taking off and on. I would not use this in a similar fashion to a donut.

Top notch weighted balls, they seem to be very durable and will last for a long time, these things are versatile as you can use them to hit( front toss& tee) but I wouldn ’ t recommend throwing from a far distance, you can also use them to warm up the rotator cuff and get those arms going with the resistance from the weight. I highly recommend especially if you are having trouble staying through the ball when hitting, this training balls, will absolutely help with staying through.
