This is a great popper to use over submerged grass, around docks, and around pads. This bait flat out catches fish. If you are n't catching fish, you must be fishing in a puddle because this bait always will draw a strike.

These poppers work great. I noticed that the bass in the pond I was fishing were chasing sunnies and scarfing them up so I grabbed one of these poppers that had bright gold on it with some white and blue. Seemed to mimic a sunny pretty well. My first cast I let it sit there for about 20 seconds, then gave it a few twitches and a bass nailed it. I let him take it then set the hook. I landed a 3 pounder. I could n't be happier. A good bargain too at$ 9. 99 for 3 poppers and I had coupons and discounts so they were even cheaper. It is probably why this was the last one in the store. Going to try it again soon!

We cast, let it sit, pop it, let it sit, repeat and have had plenty of interest from Large Mouth, Pickerel, Yellow Perch and others. I 've been using jitterbugs and hulapoppers all my life. They work so well that I wear them out. A black jitterbug after dusk is a guaranteed bass catcher. One thing I 've learned: remove the forward barbs. It unscrews. Bass hit the tail of the lure or swallow it whole. All the forward barb does is cause bleeding( mine). Save the forward barb incase the rear one breaks.
