Red/shad is my go to color. They 're absolute bass candy. The action is far better than any other soft worm on the market. The slightest action from you rod causes the tail to move which bass ca n't resist. Lastly, like YUMs description says, these worms take multiple hits from bass and do not require to be replaced after every fish. GREAT JOB YUM!!!!

T- rig with 1/4- 3/8 oz tungsten bullet weight and a 4/0- 5/0 off set worm hook. You can use a 1/16- 1/8 oz bullet weight if you are using spinning gear. Cast to some cover and let it set on the bottom for a stretch with occasional twitches. Hits most often occur as the worm is falling to the bottom... but I have also had hits shortly after the worm hits the bottom and is just setting there. Stitch it along the bottom by lifting and dropping your rod tip 6 '' or so. Slowly works best, but the bass will tell you what they want. Do n't be afraid to tie on a big worm when you are fishing for largemouth bass! I 've had bass< 1 lb hit this worm like a train. I keep my colors simple... black and green pumpkin are all you need. Those 2 work in all conditions. A great worm by Zoom!!

Had these recommended to me by a fellow fisherman for a local body of water. This is quite different from the other worms and soft plastics I normally use. It has an interesting action, but you must take great care to thread it on the worm hook exactly straight. Otherwise you have issues with it spinning. I switched to a weighted hook, which greatly helped with keeping the lure upright and stable. I have caught a few bass on it in two different bodies of water, though the weather has not been a bit hot for great action lately.

When you 've tried all the other colors- you can sometimes get the bite going again with these `` tan '' colored pieces. A lift- and- fall retrieve usually works for me and I just got back from Moonstone Beach in Cambria, CA where I scored 2. 5 puund Barred Surf Perch with this bait. They 're pricy- but worth it. Forget about the pouch once you 've open it- put the sandworms in a glass jar to keep them from dying out. BTW- the `` Recharge Juice '' they sell is worthless- so save the original packing liquid with great care.
