Large Mouth Bass Love Them ... GREAT worm for bass fishing ... One of The BEST Bass baits ... These power worms have been the best lure for large mouth in reservoir fishing in the North

atdigi
Using the 7inch June bug and green pumpkin colors the last two times out fishing from the shore large mouth bass are all over them. These are now my go to lure.
5
BassSlayer
This worm was great when I fished with it last summer. The fish were constantly biting so much that my dad and brother bought several packs of these worms too.
5
Epic
These power worms have been the best lure for large mouth in reservoir fishing in the North East. I use them with a sixteenth oz. jig head in a multitude of colors. Catching bass with this setup for 35 years. Great product!

I love the Power Worm in 7 ''! My favorite and best performing colors are `` green- pumpkin '' and `` black ''. This worm delivers when texas rigged with a bullet weight.

The Zoom ol monsters are my soft plastic of choice. The 10 1/2 '' worm will get the bass' attention. They are very durable and come in a good assortment of colors. My most productive have been: black shad, red shad and California 420. I love texas rigging these worms and practically fishing anywhere on the lake. From fallen timber to points to deep water structure, these are a sure bet
5
tatts
great worm use it texas or carolina rig big an needs a 5. 0 hook fish cant miss seeing this bait
5
Ratltraps
I have thrown the Zoom Ol' Monster worm for years and with great success, this new color called California 420 is just what the east Texas fish want, very versatile, shallow with a small 1/8 ounce weight or deep with a 1 ounce weight, my# 1 worm to go to period! I use a long offset shank 5/0 hook with these worms, great in the grass, around the grass and through the timber!

Having little experience, my 8 year old wacky rigged the trout worm with a spilt shot and cast in stream in Tennessee himself. Immediately began catching fish, worked so well, I could n't fish for constantly taking nice rainbows off for both my kids fishing with the pink 3 '' worms.
5
Hawkeye203
I have used these in orange peel before, as well as regular orange, pink and green. Orange peel works the best, I think due to the added sparkle. These power worms will always be a part of my go to tackle. I have caught many Yough river rainbows with these.
5
Kannacker
I use these every year and they out fish any other power bait product I have ever used. Most people really do not know how to rig the worm or present it to the trout. I fish right next to people that are using night crawlers& meal worms and I out fish them. Presentation and the right choice of color. Sometimes Pink, Red other times Orange and sometimes only the green is working for me. Try them I think you will like them.
5
AlexGB
Doesn ’ t look like much but works way better than powerbait. Stays on your hook fish after fish! Just caught 6 trout on the same “ worm ”. My new fav.

Red/shad is my go to color. They 're absolute bass candy. The action is far better than any other soft worm on the market. williamo
Of all the curly tail grubs, Berkely are the best for me in the color pearl white. I use them for crappies and bluegill.
5
wader105
as expected, these Berkley 2 '' curlies are quality baits. each bait is consistent in quality in shape, size, and color and the colors are very vibrant. durability is about average but still very decent. these baits will catch all panfish species- bluegill, perch, and crappie for me. and when i do catch the occasional bass, it's usually with this berkley power bait. i recently downsized from regular bass rig to ultra lite and could n't be happier with these little curly tails- several colors/combos. lastly, i think you 'll find these 2 '' ers are a little beefier than most other small grubs and the fish seem to appreciate it, as do i.

T- rig with 1/4- 3/8 oz tungsten bullet weight and a 4/0- 5/0 off set worm hook. You can use a 1/16- 1/8 oz bullet weight if you are using spinning gear. Cast to some cover and let it set on the bottom for a stretch with occasional twitches. Hits most often occur as the worm is falling to the bottom... but I have also had hits shortly after the worm hits the bottom and is just setting there. Stitch it along the bottom by lifting and dropping your rod tip 6 '' or so. Slowly works best, but the bass will tell you what they want. Had these recommended to me by a fellow fisherman for a local body of water. This is quite different from the other worms and soft plastics I normally use. It has an interesting action, but you must take great care to thread it on the worm hook exactly straight. Otherwise you have issues with it spinning. I switched to a weighted hook, which greatly helped with keeping the lure upright and stable. I have caught a few bass on it in two different bodies of water, though the weather has not been a bit hot for great action lately.

This affordable alternative to the Yamamoto Senko is our preferred bait for fishing Texas creeks and shallow lakes. We fish it weightless and weedless. The sink rate is excellent, and we find it to actually be more durable than the Yamamoto Senko.

Bought these to try when the big worm bite would slow down. Learned this is just as enticing when against the larger plastics. It must be the tail flickering that gets either lethargic or shy bass to bite.

When you 've tried all the other colors- you can sometimes get the bite going again with these `` tan '' colored pieces. A lift- and- fall retrieve usually works for me and I just got back from Moonstone Beach in Cambria, CA where I scored 2. 5 puund Barred Surf Perch with this bait. They 're pricy- but worth it. Forget about the pouch once you 've open it- put the sandworms in a glass jar to keep them from dying out. BTW- the `` Recharge Juice '' they sell is worthless- so save the original packing liquid with great care.

The fish go crazy for it!!! I 've tried all kids of artificial bait and this is by far the best!

Bass plastic worms are primarily used for fishing, specifically targeting bass species. They mimic the movement and appearance of natural prey, making them an effective lure for attracting fish. Anglers often use them in various fishing techniques, such as Texas rigging or wacky rigging, to enhance their chances of a successful catch.
Bass plastic worms are usually made from soft, flexible plastics that can mimic the texture and movement of live bait. These materials often include PVC or other synthetic compounds that provide durability and buoyancy. The choice of material can affect the worm's action in the water, influencing how fish respond to it.
Choosing the right size of bass plastic worms depends on various factors, including the type of bass you are targeting and the fishing conditions. Generally, larger worms may be more effective in murky waters or during the spawning season, while smaller worms can be better for clear waters or when fish are more finicky. It's often beneficial to have a range of sizes in your tackle box to adapt to different situations.
The effectiveness of colors for bass plastic worms can vary based on water clarity, light conditions, and the natural forage in the area. Common colors include green pumpkin, black, and purple, as they tend to mimic natural prey. Experimenting with different colors can help determine what works best in specific environments or conditions.
Several fishing techniques are effective when using bass plastic worms, including Texas rigging, Carolina rigging, and drop-shotting. Each technique allows for different presentations and depths, making it easier to target bass in various habitats. Understanding the conditions and behavior of the fish can help you select the most suitable technique for your fishing trip.
Many bass plastic worms are designed to be reusable, especially if they are made from durable materials. After a fishing session, it's important to inspect them for any damage or wear. Proper storage and care can extend their lifespan, allowing anglers to use them multiple times before needing to replace them.
