I did a mixed set of the p770's and the p- 7cb's. I went with the 4 iron thru 7 iron in the p770s. These irons have a great feel to them, and you can easily work draws and cuts with them. My mishits are usually hitting it too thin. You get a good feel for the mishit which is what I want, but I 'm not loosing very much distance. I 've been really been surprised how forgiving they are. Really happy with this purchase.

I had the i210s, which were good. I felt like they had a left- bias and upgraded to the i230's when they came out. The i230's are ridiculously consistent and accurate. But I felt like they flighted too low and were not forgiving enough. I recently upgraded to the i240s. They are a little bit more of a game improvement iron. Maybe the i230's are better for 4 hdcp and better, but as a 7- 9 hdcp, I am really liking the i240s. Compared to the i230s, they have a slightly higher flight and are more forgiving. The slightly larger head and the normal grooves instill more confidence. Maybe they are not as deadly accurate and consistent as the i230s, but I 'm more comfortable with this tradeoff and iron profile. There are a lot of great irons out there, but I have confidence in Ping and they keep rewarding me.

I previously used Cobra Radspeed irons and celebrated a hole in one! I decided to treat myself to a new set of irons and chose King Cobra max irons. These are lofted up slightly so I 'm finding 2- 3yards less carry at times but my total distance dispersion is way tighter. Example no more 7 irons going from 138- 168 under normal conditions. I 'm now consistently around 155 most swings. Plenty of tech, visually appealing and great price. Shout out to Leftys, Cobra has you covered. I ’ ve played 5 rounds with these and I ’ m very glad I bought them. I traded in my Srixon ZX5 ’s for these. At first the size scared me to death. They look really thin. I tried them and the fear quickly went away. Very forgiving. At 56 and a 10 handicap I ’ m hitting the 7 around 162. This is the first set of clubs I can square the face on and swing away. These are great. Give them a try. I like them better than Srixon and Mizuno.

I Got fitted and these were far and away the best head for me so I went to callaway online and ordered them to my specs. After a short wait the clubs arrived and I unboxed them. I am happy to say the look and feel of these clubs check all the boxes for me. I ’ m 62 years old and have only played for about 10 years now so my swing is still under construction. I ’ ve learned age can steal some swing speed so I was fitted with a lighter weight graphite shaft this time and it has seemed to help. As far as performance……I can truthfully say my shot dispersion has improved greatly with this combination. In fact my first round played with these in league was my lowest ever and was capped off with my first “ Hole in 1 ” on a 138 yard par 3. Was it luck…yes, but now I feel like I can actually aim for a flag instead of hoping to just hit the green. All in all I would recommend theses clubs to anyone. These are labeled in Golf Digest as a game improvement iron which indicates they are more for high handicappers and beginners. I am 58 years old and a lifetime 5- 10 handicap and these irons make me feel like I am 30 years old again. I picked up 25 yards with my 7 iron as compared to my cut muscle blades that I got fitted for twenty years ago. The ball launches high which helps it hold the greens even with the lower spin. But because of the lower spin and larger sweet spot, my mis- hits go further and than before and do not stray off line as much. These clubs are at least two clubs longer than the Srixon 7 irons. Srixon in it own right makes great stickers. The overall feel is noticeably improved — much softer and more controlled at impact — while still maintaining the distance the P790 line is known for. I have been playing with a set of Dunlop clubs that are probably 20 years old. These are gon na be a great upgrade for me. Compared em to others based on how they look and felt on the sim. I was hesitant to pull the trigger to buy these clubs. I was not sure how much of an improvement they would be over my 2023 Big Bertha set but pull the trade since the deal made sense. Love the look, and am quite impressed with their forgiveness, accuracy and distance. Medium to low spin ratio compared to previous clubs so they tend to roll quite a bit upon landing, hence longer total distance. Just need to get used to my new total distance. Very pleased indeed!

I bought these after switching from a set of blades when I was younger. But I bought this early in 2024 after sustaining an injury and wanting an easier club to hit while maintaining a players' club feel and performance. It took a while getting used to the stronger lofts, but I really liked the lower penetrating ball flight for control. It's surprisingly easy to work the ball left- to- right, or right- to- left or simply hitting it dead straight. It's definitely a confidence builder when you 're standing on the tee box in front of water on a par 3 and just thinking of how to attack the flag rather than worrying about just carrying the hazard. It makes me want to try out the Srixon hybrids and fairway woods.

This Iron/Hybrid( Max OS) set is working great for me. I ’ m 62 and benefit from the oversized head design along with Regular shafts. My only concern is the pricing. I work at a golf course so I got my set as a gift from the head pro, but I could never afford these. Been playing for almost 15 years and have not had a iron that checks all the boxes. This is perfect for someone who wants to transition from hollow body irons. Usually, 100% 1020 carbon steel is just for blades until now. You get great forgiveness from a mid handicap standpoint, but when you flush it, it feels unreal. The turf interaction is also fantastic from the sole design on this club. This will be in my bag for years to come.

I had been experiencing age related contact and accuracy issues in my irons game and saw somed reviews of the new Srixon ZXiR and ZXiR HL irons. I just purchased these irons and they are amazing for an older swing! Launch is high and appears to be powerful. Confidence inspiring and plenty of forgiveness on poorer hits. These are not for everyone, but for me, I do n't care that they look different from other iron sets. They do what they are designed to do.

Fantastic Irons! There are a lot of good player/game improvement irons available and I 've owned a few different brands and models. It was time for a new set after a few years. I ordered these irons 3 weeks ago and just got them. Played them right away and holy moly changed my game the first time. Took 10 shots off my off my score. Broke 90 for the first time. My friends were impressed and will probably purchase these irons themselves. The sweet sound and high lofts were I was able to see them at work. I highly recommend them.

I played Mizuno 921 Forged for two years and loved their feel and workability. But as I have aged, my game has slipped and I wasn ’ t catching that smaller sweet spot from 160 in. Switched to the G430s with regular Alta shafts and Shazam the iron game is back. It took some trial and error with the PW through 58 but the yardage results are tight and satisfying.
