I got a 50 degree and a 58 degree about 2 months ago. I ’ m still trying to figure out distances with the 50 degree. The 58 degree is incredible- I have confidence to get out of any bunker. Yesterday I got out of 3 bunkers all awful situations and landed them within 8 feet of the pin. I missed all the par saving putts…. mercy. I got these as a gift, upgrading from the Mack Daddy 4s and I love them. They go about the same distance as my previous set, but more spin and more workability around the green. Also, the low center of gravity makes it easier to let the club do the work on short shots because it feels like the club is doing most of the work. The MIM is wonderful and the bonded tungsten does help lower trajectory and still allow for tight control from approach to greenside. The Spin Gen Face and Face Blast continues to allow for optimal spin when you need it! Just an overall great feeling wedge! Have since filled out the bottom of my bag with a 54- 58- 62( adjusted from 60) and have found the Z grind is my all around favorite. Just so versatile in every situation for me. All three have this grind and it instills confidence no matter the shot I want to attempt. As long as I commit to the swing, the Z grind gets the job done. Ca n't just deliver a guess with this grind, but demand it to perform and it always gets it done if so. From Greenside to tight lies, first cut, rough, sand... I 'm pulling these wedges with high expectations for them to deliver.

Had to see what all the hype around Vokey wedges was about so I picked up a 48, 52, and 58 to replace my RTX 6 Zipcores. With full swings, they feel like most other wedges I 'd say. Nothing too mind blowing, at least vs the Zipcores, though the Clevelands feel a little heavier. However, around the greens these things really shine. All the science around the grinds is completely legit. Choose your grinds and bounce appropriately and you 'll be very happy.

Yes wedges are expensive especially Vokeys. But every time I hit a chip, pitch or full shot with these sm10 ’s I think I ’ d never play anything else. I use to play Callaway and thought they were nice. These are just the best. The nickel finish just adds another level. I actually had 2 other sm10 chrome wedges and traded them in for the nickel finish. No glare and the finish is holding up nicely.

Since I bought this my short game has never been so consistent and my rounds so much enjoyable. No more chips either not even getting out of the thick grass around the green or sailing over it. Easy to sent straight to the pin with an easy putting stroke and quickly get a feel for distance. Only thing I would add is a slightly larger grip.( Ana don ’ t be shamed by your playing partners who are just jealous of your short game.)

I 've been gaming the 54 and 58 degree wedges for about a month now, and I 'm really impressed. If you happen to top one with this club, it really runs as it ’s heavy. Hated it at first. But if you stay down, the ball pops right up. From any nice lie close in, it will chip up, but back spin it tough to come by. Bump and run em. Surprisingly when swinging thru it really flies high and I can even get 100 yards out of it if needed.
