Glarner
[ I bought these a month ago and I 've worn them almost every day since then for rides between 30 and 80 miles. They are very comfortable and the stiffness of the sole has eliminated some plantar pain I was developing with my old shoes. The only objection is that the velcro straps are just barely long enough( I have wide feet). The shoes fit my feet well enough but only with thin liner socks- I 'm not sure these will work well for cold weather rides given my wide feet( and need for thicker socks).

[ I mostly do rail trail and gravel road riding. This shoe is perfect for that! I 've always liked Shimano products and these shoes are no exception

[ I 've taken the shoes on two rides so far and they 've been great. The holes to screw the cleats into were a little misplaced which caused some discomfort when I tried them on, but once I tightened the cleats onto the shoe, I have n't noticed anything off and the shoes are comfortable and fit well.

[ I bough these about a month ago and have loved them ever since. My feet never get sore and they never slip around. They clip in to my pedals very nice and still have grip on the bottom for walking.

[ Bought these to use with SPD pedals that I just put on my Nordictrack bike. They fit well and the quick release is easy to use. I would use them on my MTB also if I had clipless pedals.

Tall Old Guy
[ Bought a month ago and have 150 miles of dirt with( and on) them. Really love the way they cup my heel. Remarkably good fit. I wear size 14 US athletic shoes and got a 49 size( about 13. 5 US) in these shoes and am very happy with the length. They stay tight and do n't stretch over the ride like my old ones did. Much easier to hike- a- bike without the steal toe cleats like my old shoes too. Maybe less than stellar: Feels kind of bulky in the forefoot sole if you 're standing on rocks, but it's tolerable. I do n't notice it when riding though. Not sure how long the BOA system will last. It seems like I 'm going to pull it apart when I disengage it, but time will tell. I would recommend these. In fact, I 'm going to get my girlfriend a pair.

[ Other than a bit on the narrow side of fit … high quality materials… bit tough to unlock the Boa to loosen … very sturdy: these will last as long as the bike lasts. I ’ d buy again! Recommend these as long as your feet are not wide.

[ This shoe looks cool, is super light. Good traction and comfortable to walk in. I use the spd spacer but do n't really need it, the cleat does n't hit pavement anyways. Had a flat yesterday 9 miles into my 10. 2 loop, and walked the rest of the way home. The BOA system is super light and easy to adjust.

[ I bought these shoes as I was looking for an inexpensive, quality shoe for riding my gravel bike. I have bought LG shoes before so I figured these were a good candidate. The shoe seems durable and is overall comfortable. The heel feels lose when I walk around, but is fine when I am riding. It does seems to be a little bigger than shoes of the same size that I have ordered before.

[ Was looking for the perfect gravel bike shoe and I found it! Shimano comes with an amazing reputation for quality products and customer service( that I hope I never have to use). These shoes fit perfect right out of the box, were able to be adjusted for my two screw clips, and overall feel very secure with the boa closure. Not to mention they look amazing and have great grip when just walking around. Starting to put miles on these shoes but so far this is one of the best gravel bike pieces I ’ ve bought in a while.

If you live somewhere with 90+ degree weather all summer, you know that most mountain bike shoes are not made for breathability aside from XC shoes which are in general better ventilated. These are a great option for hot weather riding. I think they could apply a lot of the engineering of this show to the hellcat pro and make a knockout trail shoe. The lacing is much more effective on shoes with flexible uppers than typical mountain bike shoes that have become like stiff plastic over the past 10 years. Runs long... I bought a half size down( 11 vs 11. 5) after trying my normal size.

[ This is my first pair of actual bike shoes to be honest. Usually wear flat skate type shoes or trainers. I rode in these shoes twice and I can honestly say that there is a significant difference( maybe because I have n't worn bike specific shoes before). I love the shank in the sole, I feel like i have much better control and balance when hitting the bumpy rooted descents and techy spots. The soles are great for gripping flat pedals. I rode in wet conditions on one ride and never had an issue with slipping. I 'm running CB Stamp 1 pedals. I also found it easier to find my foot position quickly again if I need to take foot off and come back to. They fit true to size based on my recent experiences with shoe buying. Love the BOA laces. I was looking for a flat pedal shoe with BOA laces which appear hard to find. I found 3 different shoes and this pair was about$ 25-$ 50 cheaper, but with the same features. I think these are better looking as well in my opinion. I am extremely happy with them. Overall I 'm pretty pumped to have bought this shoe after 2 rides. Hoping the durability is up to par and they last for quite awhile.

When selecting men's biker shoes, consider features such as the type of closure system, which can include laces, Velcro, or ratchet straps for a secure fit. Look for shoes with stiff soles that provide optimal power transfer while pedaling, as well as breathable materials to keep your feet comfortable during rides. Additionally, consider the shoe's compatibility with different pedal systems, especially if you use clipless pedals.
Men's biker shoes are designed for various types of cycling, including road biking, mountain biking, and casual cycling. Each type of shoe may have specific features tailored to its intended use, such as lightweight designs for road cycling or rugged soles for off-road traction in mountain biking. Understanding your primary biking activity will help you choose the right shoe for your needs.
To find the right size for men's biker shoes, it's essential to measure your foot length and width accurately. Different brands may have slightly different sizing charts, so always refer to the specific brand's size guide. Additionally, consider the type of socks you will wear while biking, as this can affect the fit. Trying on shoes with the intended cycling socks can help ensure a comfortable fit.
Men's biker shoes are typically made from a combination of synthetic materials, mesh, and rubber. Synthetic materials provide durability and support, while mesh panels enhance breathability to keep your feet cool during rides. The soles are often made from rubber or composite materials to ensure grip and stability on the pedals.
Men's biker shoes can be suitable for various weather conditions, but their effectiveness may depend on the specific design and materials used. Shoes with waterproof features are ideal for wet conditions, while those with breathable materials are better for hot weather. It's important to consider the climate in which you will be riding and choose shoes that offer the appropriate protection and comfort.
The primary difference between road biking shoes and mountain biking shoes lies in their design and intended use. Road biking shoes are typically lighter, with a stiff sole for maximum power transfer and a smooth bottom for use with clipless pedals. In contrast, mountain biking shoes often feature a more rugged sole for traction on varied terrain, and they may have additional protection to guard against rocks and debris.
