[ The Nike Cortez is a Nike classic that has been updated to its current version. The look is low profile and stylish and will definitely get you compliments. They will take you back to your teenage years. The Cortez are easy to put on and the laces stay secured during walks. However, the breathability was mediocre. If you use them to work out in, you ’ ll sweat a good amount. If only using them as street shoes then this is not a huge issue. During my workout, I felt like the shoes squeezed my foot and I then had to loosen the laces. I also felt like they did not have enough arch support during intense workouts. After a few uses, I saw some creases in the leather and it seems impossible to get rid of them. Size wise they run a little small and they feel a bit narrow. If you have a wide foot these would not be for you. I would recommend ordering at least ½ or maybe even 1 size up. I do recommend these shoes but only for “ street shoes ” and not for workouts.

They are comfortable and provide great support. What I like most is the style of the shoe, starting with the shape. To me the shape is a mix between causal and athletic. This makes them easy to pair with many different outfits. The leather is soft and smooth, giving the shoes a refined, sleek look. The Nike Ava Edge performed amazingly every chance it got. I would be on a paved or rocky trail and feel like I was walking on pillows. With water puddles I was confident that I would not slip and fall like a 1950s cartoon character. The design reminds me of the times I used to spray paint my old workshop projects in shop class. The art feels like I made the choice to customize it that way. Also it matches the rock dust on the trails in my area. The metallic spray paint design really stands out and is a great pop of color, especially with all the boring flat colored running shoes going around. The materials are flexible yet strong, and durable yet comfy if that makes sense. Pretty much one of the best shoes you could buy and wear every day without giving it a second thought. Breathable as well. I liked the style and comfort of the shoes most. It gives off comfy laid back Y2k vibes and that nostalgia makes me appreciate the aesthetic it has going for itself. I would probably change the material to a Gore- Tex because I just love water proofing everything. Other than that it's a perfect all day shoe.

[ Nike has managed to create their most comfortable dunk low without making it a part of their Nike Skateboarding line. We all know the added padding and comfort that Nike SB's provide and regular dunks seem to be a little stiffer. It's been awhile since I 've worn regular dunks but I 'm happy to report that Nike has improved them tremendously. The tongue has extra thick padding similar to a Nike SB, the inner lining is lined with extra soft materials and the insole is much thicker than in the past. I swear you could mistake these for a Nike SB dunk low. The outsole materials are very premium with the Goretex added and the leather is nice and buttery. You can wear these dressed up or dressed down and still look good no matter what. I 'm still worried about the toe box creasing which is what dunks are known for. I will have to report back once I really put some wear into these. Overall, these are a huge improvement from the old dunks and hope they release them in different colorways. If you 're standing on your feet for work or do a lot of walking, I highly recommend grabbing these for next pair. I can see the whole kitchen crew at a restaurant rocking these. Highly recommend!

[ Goretex really works well with this type of shoe design! I love being able to go out in the rain and being able to just put some dunk lows on while being confident on keeping me warm and dry. It has been raining a lot and these have been holding up quite well. They are a bit stiffer and rigid but hoping it will break in like how dunks usually do. I am glad Nike came out with the Goretex versions and will definitely be a staple especially with winter around the corner!

The LeBron TR 1 strikes the ideal balance of looks and functionality in an every day trainer. I personally put the trainers through a 3 hour leg day on first wear and they were incredibly comfortable and performed very well on a multitude of lifts ranging from Olympic to isolation. I ’ ve been a fan of the Mat Fraser Metcon ’s for generations now, however the new LeBron TR 1 will be replacing those as my favorite gym trainers. Can not wait for more color- ways!

Added support in the arch of the foot is noticeable but not too much and is comfortable for all day wear. Fit is true to size as far a Nike running goes. Outsole has good traction and did not experience any traction issues running outdoors or on the treadmill.

When asked his opinion on the negatives of the shoes he said he couldn ’ t think of any but his top 2 positives about the shoe were fit and comfort. When it came to the fit he said that the shoes fit like a glove they weren ’ t too loose and they weren ’ t too tight and he stated that they didn ’ t adjust over time as well like some shoes do, they stayed at the perfect fit. He also said that he really likes where the shoe falls on the ankle because it ’s not too high where you feel constricted and not too low where it rubs against the bone. He can wear these shoes all day and stay comfortable in them, they have the right amount of cushion and bounce without feeling like you are walking on a board. My husband now wears these shoes every day outside of work.

But once the foot is in the shoe the looks don ’ t matter. The shoe fits true to size and holds the foot like Goldilocks…not too tight, not too loose…just right. The cushion was noticeably significant as the shock absorption on strike was well received and eliminated prevailing joint pain through the leg. That being said, the insole of this shoe is geared more towards a rear mid/heel striker. I also tested this shoe in cross training with a combo HIIT, functional strength training, spring workout and the shoe performed well. It is now my favorite cross training shoe. I would suggest flat laces that hold up to vigorous training and a larger pull loop on the back of the heel for convenience. Overall, 9/10.

Listen, people lime what they like and ai know some are against the styling. Me, though, I think the solid colorways( like the hyper pink, triple black, sundial) go hard with the right fit. My number one reason for this post though is to tell folks that this “ tube air ” is super comfortable! Definitely more comfortable than the 97s, tuned airs, 95s. Only street casual shoe more comfortable is runners like Invincible or Infinity runs or Vomeros, or Ava Rover, etc Oh and if you have even a slightly wide foot- go half size up- they are narrow.
