I bought these with skepticism- Nike usually has good looking shoes, but often underdeliver with quality and functionality. These shoes get the job done. I purchased with the intention of wearing them in the weight room- no desire to run and/or jump in them. They provide excellent ankle support and a wide toe base so that you 're able to get your feet set before every lift. The firm sole provides little toe bend, which I appreciate. I would n't recommend them if you 're wanting to run, they 're heavier and on the clunky side, but think they 're well suited for a lifting or HIIT type shoe.

Love this On Cloudeclipse. Firm and soft, with no plate. I have the cloudmonsters( have a plate) and after I ran in them my calves were in pain, and with the cloudeclipese I don ’ t have that problem. Also, I ran in Nike ’s for the last 10 years, and changing brands was a very tough decision, but I ’ m glad I did.
