Perfect for steelhead fishing, when fishing in deep water. ... The tie of the bobber stopper does n't slide up and down the line, so it is very helpful when fishing at a set

They work as any other stopper and bead. Easy slide and pull pre tied thread and included bead. Better then using a spring or clip on float.

5 Malimd
This product is very convenient for setting up rigs quickly.

These bobber stops work very well-- especially for rods with small diameter guiides that other bobber stops get stuck on. I find it's not even necessary to trim the string, which is recommended but hard to do. Just tie one on and leave the excess string on-- it saves work and does n't interfere with the functioning of the bobber stop. It also makes the bobber stop easier to see.

I ’ m so happy I bought these!! Thank you for the great product!

I have used this product for years but have always struggled to find them. Dick's Sporting Goods apparently knows what to stock for crappie fisherman. With that said I use them in a Texas Rig as well. Great product... Highly recommend.

I love these things. I can set the depth off my float easily, and keep it where I want it for a slow troll. It's changed the way I hunt lake Reds.

Frequently Asked Questions For Bobber for Crappie Fishing

When selecting a bobber for crappie fishing, consider features such as size, weight, and buoyancy. A lightweight bobber can help detect subtle bites, while a larger bobber may be useful for deeper waters. Additionally, look for designs that allow for easy adjustments and visibility in various water conditions.

Bobbers for crappie fishing are typically made from materials like plastic, foam, or cork. Each material offers different benefits; for instance, foam bobbers are lightweight and buoyant, while plastic bobbers can be more durable and resistant to wear. Understanding these materials can help you choose the right bobber for your fishing style.

Yes, there are various styles of bobbers designed specifically for crappie fishing, including slip bobbers and fixed bobbers. Slip bobbers allow for depth adjustment, making them ideal for varying water levels, while fixed bobbers are easier to use for beginners. Choosing the right style depends on your fishing technique and the conditions you expect to encounter.

Bobbers can be effective for crappie fishing during the spring and fall when crappies are more active and closer to the surface. During these seasons, crappies tend to gather in schools, making them easier to target with bobbers. However, they can also be used in summer and winter with the right techniques and adjustments.

The right size bobber for crappie fishing depends on factors like the depth of the water and the weight of your bait. Generally, a smaller bobber is suitable for shallow waters and light baits, while a larger bobber can support heavier baits and deeper presentations. Experimenting with different sizes can help you find the most effective option for your fishing conditions.
