5 stuball56
This is an excellent addition to any tackle box. Works great trolled, cast, and is also a great top water for bass. Cast it out onto the glass smooth morning/evening water, let it sit a minute, give it a couple twitches and........... BAM, fish on! Looks fantastic, and it works. Rapala are the only `` crank baits '' I use now.

Have purchased several of these because they work! The jointed lures have good motion. Can just Cast, Retrive Slowly, and Catch Fish. Easier to use that a standard jerk bait.

5 Dickie69
I bought this lure in NY to fish the Erie Canal. I already have just about every size of this lure and various colors as well. Over the years, this lure has been a go to when the bite is hot or when it gets tough. The action on it is amazing. You can float it, twitch it, run it down a foot or two or deeper. A true classic that has produced many, many fish for me over the 30+ years I 've owned one!

5 Badass Bass Fisherman
Used to use Tiny/Baby Torpedos and thought I had the killer lures for bass on my favorite water. Have n't had the success I wanted lately as the propellers did n't always spin. Last summer I watched a video on Youtube of a guy killing smallies with a `` Whopper Plopper '' so I decided to give one a try. I bought the 90 perch and 90 pac- man. First afternoon out with these lures I caught 10 bass. That was my best day ever on this water. Two were 3 lbs plus; all were respectable sizes.( See picture) Just purchased three more: Bluegill, Frog, and 28 Bluegill. Gon na buy the T1000 and Chub( Yoda) next. May go up a size to see if they produce even bigger fish. Ca n't wait till the spawn to kill 'em again!!!!

5 Frank
The Whopper Plopper in my opinion revolutionized top water fishing. Caught a 4and1/2 pound largemouth on a sunny day in mid afternoon, after trying swim baits, jig, and other top water lures. Tied on a Whopper Plopper and the second cast had the expolsion on the lure.

5 Hookset
I 've owned many of the 75- 110's, and the ones I do n't lose to toothy critters stack smallmouth like cordwood! Tie one on and REMEMBER.... you ca n't fish this too slow! Just get that tail churning and wait for it to call in the hogs. Tight lines!

5 yungterp
big plops, big bass, even more fun. I like the black one

5 smann64
bought this because of intense fishing pressure on the lake I fish. I 'm the only one catching fish with a plopper. works great

5 Nater56
Used this bait by running it along the weed line and bass destroy it with vicious attacks

5 pecoto
I bought this for tossing around in my parent's farm pond. I have had good luck with Whopper Ploppers before but those ponds are full of smaller fish that ca n't always bite, and I wanted something a bit smaller to tempt them with. I got a strike on EVERY cast, including the first one. My streak only ended when a bigger fish BROKE MY LINE. They were biting good on topwater that day but ONLY the Whopper Plopper was getting hit that much. Something about these lures just drives bass CRAZY.

5 Alamo Gene
I have all color and two sizes! Bass love it!! Then the weather gets hot it will bring them in!!

This lure darts through the water and looks so real under the water, this drives the fish bonkers, and they go crazy! You can fish this lure slow, fast, dart it around, steady retrieve, it is a VERY VERSATILE LURE TO HAVE IN YOUR TACKLE BOX. I caught a little 22inch Northern Pike from darting one of the larger models through the weeds and that little guy hit it. I thought I snagged on some weeds again- from darting it through the weeds.. until something started tugging back, then I was like, `` Oh Snap, I got one! ''

Frequently Asked Questions For Wobbler Fishing Lures

Wobbler fishing lures are designed to mimic the erratic movement of injured baitfish, which attracts predatory fish. They typically feature a unique shape and weight distribution that creates a wobbling action when retrieved through the water. This movement, combined with reflective finishes, enhances visibility and entices fish to strike.

Wobbler fishing lures are versatile and can be effective for catching a variety of freshwater and saltwater fish species. Common targets include trout, bass, pike, and salmon. The specific effectiveness may vary based on the lure's design, color, and the fishing environment.

Wobbler fishing lures are often made from durable materials such as metal, plastic, or wood. Metal lures tend to provide a more pronounced wobble and durability, while plastic lures can be lighter and come in various colors and finishes. The choice of material can influence the lure's action and effectiveness in different water conditions.

Selecting the right wobbler fishing lure depends on several factors, including the type of fish you are targeting, water clarity, and weather conditions. Brightly colored lures may work better in murky waters, while more natural colors can be effective in clear conditions. Additionally, consider the size and weight of the lure in relation to the depth and current of the water.

Yes, there are various styles of wobbler fishing lures designed for different fishing techniques. Some lures are specifically crafted for trolling, while others are better suited for casting or jigging. Understanding the fishing technique you plan to use can help you select the most effective wobbler for your needs.

Wobbler fishing lures can be effective year-round, but their success may vary with seasonal changes. During spring and fall, when fish are more active and feeding aggressively, wobblers can be particularly effective. Additionally, the time of day, such as early morning or late evening, can also influence the effectiveness of these lures.
