I do n't know how I lived without these! I am a snowmaker at a Utah ski resort and in the past I was constantly having to deal with wet boots, water wicking up my pants, etc. That is a thing of the past when wearing the gaiters. They are very well made and durable. Additional bonus is they keep the early season weeds, stickers, and cockleburrs off my pants as well. Very simple and easy to use. I will never be work without them again! Three thumbs up!

Ordered XL for my side 11. They help bridge the gap on my buffalo salopettes in the snow as I ’ m 6 ’ 2 ” and the legs high water a bit. Velcro opener is great for easy on/off and the Black Diamond logo is a nice touch to evidence their obvious quality.

Bought these for a trip to Canada, they were great, stylish and comfortable. Bulkier than other boots but is part of the style. Would definitely recommend. Probably size up half a number if you are going to use heavier socks.

[ I 've owned 2 other pairs of Oboz hikers which fit me like a glove. These insulated boots are roomier in the toe area than my normal Oboz hikers, but are just as comfortable and supportive. No hotspots at all on my first 5 mile walk. Very nice!

[ I bought these for an upcoming trip to Norway. In the past month I 've put them through the paces on extremely muddy and wet trails along with some snow and they have performed amazing. My feet have stayed warm and dry, the waterproofing is stellar. The boots themselves are super comfy and do n't require any breaking in. I did order a half size up to account for winter hiking socks and and the fit is perfect. Definitely recommend these for anyone looking for a taller winter hiking boot.
